Re: normal? sorry, tmi. blood?
...you're tellin ME...
i KNOW it's still early, but come ON already. i was told I was 2 cm dilated 12 DAYS AGO - plenty of false labor contractions since then, too. These just seem a little bit MORE than the usual ones.
come out now

Re: normal? sorry, tmi. blood?
its weird - they're not all peaking. Some are, but some aren't. I stayed home from work today because I barely slept last night (I was rearranging the fridge at 4am) and driving home from work yesterday was a little difficult while contracting, so I didn't want to risk it in the rain today.
I'm going to pack up my hospital bag and just take it easy. Maybe get some sleep.
Jen's post describes it best:

Nic--- I had the "fake" contractions that didnt hurt at all for two days. Then I lost my plug over the period of about 14 hrs. I woke up in the middle of the night with REAL contractions. They were different and I KNEW they were the real thing. They hurt---but not too bad---and had a peak. The other contractions did not feel like "waves" but just a tightening.
ETA: The tightening contractions that didnt hurt I could never really tell when they started and stopped....just that they were either happening or not. The real ones had a definate start and stop.
The contractions are definitely worse when I'm up and moving around/working/etc. They decrease when I'm laying down.
Not real.

Re: normal? sorry, tmi. blood?
THANKS, by the way
I've been SO GOOD all along with just taking things as they come. Until last night, when I cried to DH that I just want to make a "birth appointment" and baby should just come out then. Told him i wouldn't even be mad if he came out an hour late.
