If you are vaccinated….
Which would make you feel safer.
Being in a room of only vaccinated people
OR
Being in a room of only people who provided a negative Covid test
Just trying to understand something and curious of the answers.

If you are vaccinated….
Well my answer changed over the last few months. In the spring it would have been with all vaccinated but now it is with negative covid test.

Re: If you are vaccinated….
I would think vaccinated or even unvaccinated would be more comfortable around the negative testers. Can’t imagine anyone choosing the other answer.

Agree. I’m vaccinated and would still rather be in a room with folks who all tested negative vs fully vaccinated and no testing.

Re: If you are vaccinated….
Funny how people have changed from recent posts of feeling comfortable with people who were only vaccinated. Now they would rather they test. Sounds like they don’t trust the vaccine they boasted so much about and fought with strangers about.

Re: If you are vaccinated….
I’m assuming (as of now based on what has come up) the majority -if not all- of the vaccinated people would feel safer if everyone tested negative (and of course vaccinated as well) but I highly doubt they would stop going to places if everyone has not tested negative, I’d assume they would feel satisfied enough if everyone was vaccinated. It’s just not practical going around asking every single person...”hey are u fully vaccinated...and u also tested negative right?” But then again, some people are super nosy so who knows.

Re: If you are vaccinated….
Obviously knowing for sure that a room full of people are negative for COVID is the safest best however, I don't feel uncomfortable in a room of vaccinated individuals who haven't tested.

True but they still fight tooth and nail to defend it.

You can still fully trust the vaccine while also acknowledging that a room full of people who are negative is the obvious safest bet.

When would that ever happen though?

If I feel safer in a room full of vaccinated people that have ALSO tested negative, I wouldn’t necessarily say that I “fully” trust the vaccine. Maybe I’d feel like I’d “mostly” trust it but not “fully”. But hey that’s just my logical take on it. If u say u still trust it 100% regardless of anything, who am I to say how u should or should not feel like.

Obviously everyone I would think would rather be in a room full of negative test results. That doesn’t mean I don’t trust the vaccine or feel safer bc I made the choice for my family to be vaccinated. Take the negative test option away and hands down I would be a lot more comfortable being with vaccinated people vs unvaccinated. Never said I wasn’t comfortable with vaccinated people, only said if I had a choice one over the other I choose negative testing.

This. Exactly.
The question posed was which situation would make you feel safer. Of course everyone would feel safer in a room full of people who are a known factor and tested negative. But that doesn't diminish one's confidence or trust in the vaccine. I don't really get the point of the OP question to be honest, seems like a fairly obvious choice.

If you are vaccinated….
To me, the question is akin to asking if I rather be alone in the woods with someone who may have killed someone versus someone who definitely is a murderer.
I still believe in the vaccine though and think it was a positive step forward to beating this. Science is there to help advance and it always improves over time.

Re: If you are vaccinated….
Room full of vaccinated people.
Negative Covid test doesn’t mean a whole lot you can still have Covid and too early to test positive yet.
Vaccinated people will have less viral load even if they do have it. Their chances of spreading it are also less as they would be less symptomatic (less coughing for example).
I’ll take my chances that a vaccinated persons body is handling their Covid, if they even have it. I generally prefer to be around vaccinated people in public settings anyways.

Thank you. Just trying to understand the concept of “vaccinated only”. I was curious what actual vaccinated people would prefer.

Sorry to hijack your post to add a question. Do you fully trust the results of a test? or how long is a negative test safe for?

This. Honestly, I don’t feel comfortable in a room full of people in general during this whole thing! I’d feel better about it everyone was masked and I could be separated from the group. I don’t do rooms full of people.

Re: If you are vaccinated….
Well since I have been around vaccinated and unvaccinated people for months, my answer is I feel comfortable with no one being tested as we don't know who has it or not on an everyday basis.
I also was not afraid BEFORE the vaccine came out.
Nothing is 100% with tests. You can program your mind to feel comfortable around any situation that you allow.

I don’t care either way. Vaccinated not vaccinated. Negative test or no test.
But I never cared.

Same. You are not totally “safe” in either situation. I am vaccinated and after being exposed and having mild symptoms, I tested negative for Covid.
I spent time with a friend and a few days later, she was sick with Covid. She is also vaccinated. I tested again, and I was positive. But since I had tested negative, I spread it.
So you never know. There is no way to avoid it forever.
