You may agree with some of his stances but having the same opinion on issues does not make one fit to be president. I know that's this wasn't directed towards me but I think I can answer. It's not that he can't have his own opinion but for some people, like myself for instance, have a set of core beliefs that a candidate like trump, does not share (or he did but now doesn't). Those core beliefs, for me, are so strong, that there is no way I could be with someone who does not share those same beliefs. It's a compatibility thing. I could not stay with someone who agrees with the vile things he has said.
Maybe she should have thought of that many years ago before she married him. Wonder why the divorce rate is so high.
WOW, way to make this personal and about the state of my marriage and how I choose my husband.
But first of all, DH isn't voting for Trump, so its a moot point. But yes, if he did, I would be serious. My DH is a conservative, but I can look past things like different stances on abortion, on healthcare, on gun control, I can love someone in spite of those differences. I would never/could never be married to someone who supports a bigot, a racist and misogynist, who has people assaulted and silenced when they do not agree with him, who refuses to condemn the KKK. Its not about "allowing him to have his own opinion." I can't be married to someone who believes that those things are OK and supports someone who does. Those are fundamental "core" values that are non-negotiable to me, not just a difference of opinion on a political issue. There is a HUGE difference in having a different stance on gun control than my spouse than being married to someone who actively supports a racist and is willing to put them in a position of power in this country. Trump is a VILE human being and there is NO WAY I could respect someone enough to be married to them who doesn't see that and actively supports/encourages it.

And thousands of us think OBAMA had NO business representing this country, for two terms no less. That's what politics is all about. There are people who think differently than you (collective you, not just you who I quoted) and someone you may not deem to be fit will get elected. That's life. Obama was elected twice b/c in a large part because HE IS BLACK. That does not deem HIM fit to run the country either. Unfortunately people will vote for whomever they choose, whatever their reasons are.
Trump supporters do not have to justify their reasons just as Obama supporters had their reasons.There are people who will vote in Hillary JUST because she is a woman. Madeline Albright said "there is a special place in hell" for women who do NOT vote for Hillary (simply because she is a woman). That is one of the most awful things I have ever heard anyone say…to guilt women by telling them they will GO TO HELL for not voting for her simply b/c she is a woman?

Wow, that's about the most racist and sexist opinion I've seen on here thus far. I did not vote for Obama because he was black, or white, or purple, I voted for him because I liked his platform more than Romney. I vote based on issues, not skin or gender, and perhaps other people do the same.

Its obviously someone who knows who I am and is TERRIBLE at trolling. Based on the comment, personality, previous LIF comment habits/MO/Screen Names, approx age based on wedding date, location (town of islip, I know specific too), age and sex/age of her children and the fact she must have new insurance since she was just posting about it here bc this person just got a new job (I can connect the dots bc this person is part of a FB group that they either dont realize is public or doesnt know other people know about it.) Plus, she has questions on here about going on interviews that line up with other things on said board.
Plus, I do have super loud (and some may say obnoxious) laugh and people comment on it ALL the time, especially at work so I knew off the bat it was someone I worked with but still had to be within earshot (in a certain area) to hear it, I know who was there and isnt now. Like I said, she was interviewing and posting about insurance around the same time she got a new job.
The frequent cruising was a big giveaway, she mentions being a frequent cruiser in all of her screen names.
Also, since she said she married in 1993 and I looked up her original screen name on here (once I suspected who it was) and back then in 2012 she said she was going on 20 years, I knew then I had nailed it.
Additionally, when I thought I knew who she was, like I said, I know what town she lives in. In all SNs, but particularly her last one prior to this, she mentions the district several times and about the school closings. And if you look on FB, she has posts in other groups coinciding with some on here regarding issues within her school district.
This is not her first time on these boards, new name though. Really, if you are going to switch screen names, you shouldn't start a new one within a couple weeks of the old one stopping, each time.
Anyway, I used to work with her. Still doesnt explain why she seems to care so much about what I had to say here and about my marriage, thats bizarre but she did in her old SNs too. Irony is, had she not said anything at all, I wouldve never known who she was.
Lesson 1) don't try to troll people if you aren't good at it. particularly people that have a way better understanding of how the internet works and understands that even if your FB page is private, any comment you make on a public group/business or non-private personal page can be searched on FB. Also, that your profile pics on FB are NEVER private and it confirmed connections between who I thought you were with posts on here. Also having at least 3 SNs on LIF ALL sharing the same common info makes it very easy to figure out who SN #3 is if you had already figured out who #1 and #2 were).
The clincher, this person, under their previous SN posted the SAME thing about my laugh but generally and not directed at me and said it was someone they worked with. Same person then was posting about looking for a new job, so I knew they were part of recent layoffs from my company. I had already figured out who the previous SN was and then I made the connection that this SN was the same person.
Im not sure why you are so obsessed with me, bc now that I have realized who you are, and done some more digging on here, you mention me several times in posts that Im not even involved in. Its so bizarre given that we didn't work together and never ever spoke. The only thing I can figure is that since we both worked in separate creative departments, it rubbed you the wrong way that I had been promoted, etc. You always seemed very concerned in your postings on here about what everyone else at work was doing, how much other people here made (more than you), how everyone else was being promoted (myself included), going to HR about people and then you wonder why you were overlooked for promotions.
Your weird obsession with me seems to have gone into high gear right after you were laid off, so I can only suspect that you are bitter that I was not (even though I work in a completely separate creative dept), that my dept was untouched, and that over the years I had been promoted. Plus, based on posts on here before I knew who your prev SN was, I can see that while you don't have an exact #, it was easy to infer that I made more money than you and I suspect that bothered you as well. In your other postings, you said on more than one occasion (now that I know you were talking about me) that you can't imagine how anyone who laughs so much gets any work done. I think the time would've been better spent worrying less about others and more about you bc my efforts and work ethic, despite laughing and enjoying my job have been recognized several times. I think thats why you singled me out. You always seem very bothered or hung up, on what other people make, salaries, what other people spend money on etc on these boards. Therefore, since we have never even interacted, I can only suspect this bizarre obsession with me is based in jealousy.
Lesson 2) Just don't troll people who are better at trolling than you.
You make a habit of it (i.e. creepiness mentioned above and under other SNs) I just did it to confirm you were who I thought you were.

I don't think its confusing. As a professional woman and the mother of a daughter, women's rights are important to me and I look for a candidate that I believe will champion women's rights. Clinton currently meets that requirement because women's rights are a priority for her. I would not have voted for Carly Fiorina because she did not come across as a women's rights advocate and I never took her seriously because I didn't think she had a chance to win the nomination. I believe Obama is a champion of women's rights, based on his federal appointments and other initiatives.
For me, I agree with some ideas set forth by Trump regarding penalties for corporations that send jobs overseas to save money because I think that practice has a far greater impact of the high cost of welfare than the Welfare Queen or the Obama Phone recipients. However, my reasons for not voting for him are greater.

Just to be fair. (although Im prob answering the troll).
1. Unemployment is WAY down.
2. Stock market is up.
3. Everyone has access to health care (im not saying its the best, but they now have access)
4. Economy is doing well.
5. Gas is down.
6. I can go on.
Obama has actually done a good job as president.

I am still holing on to hope that he doesn't get the republican nominee and I don't have to hear about him anymore and I can go back to not caring about politics
And thousands of us think OBAMA had NO business representing this country, for two terms no less. That's what politics is all about. There are people who think differently than you (collective you, not just you who I quoted) and someone you may not deem to be fit will get elected. That's life. Obama was elected twice b/c in a large part because HE IS BLACK. That does not deem HIM fit to run the country either. Unfortunately people will vote for whomever they choose, whatever their reasons are.
Trump supporters do not have to justify their reasons just as Obama supporters had their reasons.There are people who will vote in Hillary JUST because she is a woman. Madeline Albright said "there is a special place in hell" for women who do NOT vote for Hillary (simply because she is a woman). That is one of the most awful things I have ever heard anyone say…to guilt women by telling them they will GO TO HELL for not voting for her simply b/c she is a woman?
Just to be fair. (although Im prob answering the troll).
1. Unemployment is WAY down.
2. Stock market is up.
3. Everyone has access to health care (im not saying its the best, but they now have access)
4. Economy is doing well.
5. Gas is down.
6. I can go on.
Obama has actually done a good job as president.
Facts are pesky things, aren't they?
