Please explain how my (now ex) housekeepers and their friends are here illegally. They can not leave the country or will never be allowed to return. They make 30-45 dollars an hour cash, have babies / children out of wedlock, have social service money and full health care for themselves and their babies and children? All for free.
Something has happened in the last year or two that has made all of this possible. I'm not sure how/ what happened but they seemed very happy with certain changes.
I'm not being rude, I'm really just curious as to what has happened. These people have full medical benefits. The babies being born have free healthcare. What changed?

Oh so Medicaid DOES cover pregnant women and their children? This is what I was talking about. I said the housekeepers have full health coverage as do their new babies/ children. They also receive money , I guess to support the babies? It's all very confusing to me but they all seem happy.

I think this is the biggest myth. If you are undocumented you get all these cool benefits.
The only thing everyone gets is free medical. A hospital CANT turn you away.
I'm mainly talking about the female house workers that I described in my other post, don't know anything about the men workers.'

With all due respect, I never understood the "I can't believe what a great deal housecleaners get!" view.
These are women who clean SHIT STAINS off of toilets.
Yes, they work for cash, which might mean they don't pay income taxes, but they also lack other benefits that come with mainstream professional employment in addition to SS retirement benefits.
Also, there is no way 1 woman gets $35-$40 an hour. I have a cleaning lady and she doesn't come alone. I've done the math before; we pay her market wages and on a per person, hourly basis it's not near $35-$40.
Besides, if you (general you) think that's such a great gig I see a post on here at least once a week asking for recs. Start a business. Go for it.
I would love to see the same vitriol directed at illegal Hispanic women directed instead at the corporate suits who make 8 figures even though they laid off 4,000 people.
Talk about misplaced anger.

UMC community , average $90-100 for the smaller homes, more for larger . I don't know anyone that pays less than that.

Yes, $100-$150 for 2-3 hours is what most people I know pay. I do think that is a lot, but that is what it is.
In other news, Trump is ahead, or won, almost every state so far tonight.

2. I know you never asked about starting a cleaning business. That was sarcasm, since you seemed to think they had a sweet deal. My challenge is almost always the same when someone makes another working to middle class profession sound like they are getting something over on someone: If it sounds so great, why don't you do it too?
3. Why a separate thread? This thread isn't about fighting illegals. It's about Trump. If the two have become synonymous, what does that say about his candidacy?
4. You're right. I didn't answer your questions. I thought others sufficiently addressed what you wrote.

Great, it's election year again. More mudslinging and soapbox rantings going on.
LIF has and always will be the democrats playground and every four years the claws(and true colors) come out toward anyone that doesn't bow down.
What a shocker that the OP couldn't get an adult conversation going.
You are all correct, it should truly just be a one party country. Let's just have everyone that's not a democrat agree that we don't know what we like and our opinions are stupid and invalid and we will agree with all of you.
That sounds like perfect democracy to me. 
For the record most of my NY colleagues are doctors and very successful business owners of all races, religions and genders. although they aren't boasting about it publicly, on social media or answering BS polls most of them are voting for Trump.
Believe what you want about his true base.

Well at that point I was annoyed I let myself get involved and just stopped looking.
I tend to read these type of posts without getting involved bc I have different views then a lot of the ones I see posted here. It's truly not worth it to me to constantly debate the same shit. But like I said, I like to read it sometimes and see what new info there may be out. And wih that, I saw your post. And whether or not you believe it to be so, it's was indirectly a jab at me from that last post. Simple as that.
Either way, it obv doesn't matter in the end. I just chose to acknowledge it and you now know I did.

Please explain how my (now ex) housekeepers and their friends are here illegally. They can not leave the country or will never be allowed to return. They make 30-45 dollars an hour cash, have babies / children out of wedlock, have social service money and full health care for themselves and their babies and children? All for free.
Something has happened in the last year or two that has made all of this possible. I'm not sure how/ what happened but they seemed very happy with certain changes.
I'm not being rude, I'm really just curious as to what has happened. These people have full medical benefits. The babies being born have free healthcare. What changed?

Oh so Medicaid DOES cover pregnant women and their children? This is what I was talking about. I said the housekeepers have full health coverage as do their new babies/ children. They also receive money , I guess to support the babies? It's all very confusing to me but they all seem happy.

This is the kind of stuff I keep reading, and something about amnesty granted by Obama in the past couple of years? I need to read up on this amnesty thing and make sense of it.

Quite honestly, until this stops people will continue coming into this country illegally. I feel for the undocumented , I really do. It's just that I work too hard to pay for it. As for Trump, ugh...idk what to say except we are screwed no matter f'n what.

What don't they get? I know that they do get:
1. Subsidized housing
2. Free Education
3. Free Medical Care (Medicaid)
4. Access to job training
5. Subsidized/free child care
6. Food Stamps- Welfare

What I pay in taxes is meaningless compared to treating people of all genders and races equally. Its disgusting that people are more concerned with their own wallets and are willing to look the other way in the face of this.

yes! The man in unequivocally unfit to be president on all accounts and anyone who thinks otherwise is a fool. I will actually cut people out of my life if I find out they supported him. I would actually divorce my own husband if I ever found out he supported him.
You may agree with some of his stances but having the same opinion on issues does not make one fit to be president. He is a DANGER to this country and it puts us ALL at risk, both internationally and domestically. This is NOT a man that should be trusted with the code to the Nukes, are you F*UCKING kidding me!
