I don't have a spitter-upper but I love the Born Free (BPA free) bottles (when we supplement). She never has a problem with gas or spitting up.

I keep saying "he's the king of spit up, be careful!"

We have the "spit up king" over hereChat Icon I haven't done anything to change..same formula, same bottles...just kind of waiting to see if it improves over time. He is not in pain and its inconsistent in terms of the "volume"...so I was told it should improve once he's sitting up (6 months). I always feel bad when someone feeds him...WATCH OUT or he'll ruin your shirt/pants/couch, etcChat Icon

ds spits up alot! due to the amount he was diagnosed with acid reflux, hes on Nutramigen now... hes on solids 2xs a day...doing a lil better but has his moments.... pediatrician told me hes at his peak now so he should be getting over it soon...hes 5 1/2 months old now.
as far as bibs... i go thru a ton a day.... i have lots of them.... as far as washing my machine has a sanitary feature which is a 2 hr wash on extra hot/cold water...
I use that feature and dreft detergent for all of his clothes and everything comes out stain free.
but I feel your pain, most friends and family always want to hold him, but fear to half the time, bc hes spit up on them.
and nutramigen is smelly formula so it makes it worse.
ETS: he's also on medication for his acid reflux (Axid) that def helps, but it still happens, just not as badly as b4

My DD is on Zantac for the reflux and I switched to Playtex Ventair bottles. I was using Dr. Browns before that.

My machine has a power wash setting, i noticed too the stains started appearing more when I started using tide and switched from dreft. Maybe i should go back to dreft...

So I switched to gianna's Advents today, so far, fingers crossed, I am getting dry burps, not the wet burps followed by an ounce of formula, but we are still spitting up throughout the day, but it's not like 1/2 the bottle.
She only used 3 bibs today and 2 burp cloths.

I'm using the advents instead of the dr browns for a week and see what happens. But she always has dry days and then she has really wet days...

I saw that you switched to Avent so I am glad that is working out. We switced from Avent to Dr. Browns but I switched bottles and formula all at the same time so I am not sure if the bottles helped.

As for the stains. I use totally toddler stain remover and then Oxiclean. I let it soak for 5-10 (sometimes longer because I forget to put it onChat Icon ) and the stains come out, even the poopy ones.
