I had DS on a Tues at 4:07pm and I left Friday AM.

I had DS on Dec 20th 10am and left on Dec 23rd, (by the time we actually left it was probably after lunch, but I was discharged in the AM!) I was approved for 1 more night but I felt really good so my OB said it was up to me, I could stay or go on the 23rd. So I went home!

I stayed four nights for both.
With DD #1 they gave me the option of leaving after 3 and then going to the OB office to have my staples removed or staying the extra night and having them taken out before I left. I figured it would be easier to stay instead of trying to figure out how to get there (I wouldn't be able to drive and DH would be with DD - I didn't want to take her to the Dr at a few days old if I didn't have to).
DD#2 I had the option again. I knew I wasn't going to be getting any rest when I got home with a newborn and 2 y.o., so I opted to stay again.

Had ds @ 8:15 sat morning was home on my couch by 11 am tuesday morning.

I went in on Friday at 4am, gave birth by c-section at 6:40pm and left the hospital Tuesday.

DS 9:06am Wed, I was discharged Friday Evening but since the peds were gone for the day, we left 7am Sat morning
DD 3pm on a sunday wanted to come home Tuesday morning but i came down with a fever so i had to stay until Wed

Went in Friday, emergency c/s on Saturday, went home Wednesday.
So 6 days/5 nights total, but 5 days/4 nights after I gave birth.

5 Nights with DS (I went in on Sunday and he was born late Monday afternoon after a failed induction which led to C Section).
4 Nights with DD.

With Robbie I was admitted on Monday - had the baby on Tuesday night and went home on Saturday - although the doctor gave me an option to stay until Sunday.
With Noah I was admitted on Friday, had him Friday and went home Tuesday.

Had C/S late afternoon on a Tuesday and went home Saturday early AM.
I had a fever also and needed more antibiotics - otherwise I would have gone home Fri night.
