I was induced on a Thursday, ended up with a c-section the next day and was discharged on a Tuesday.

With both girls, I had the c/s on a Sunday and went home on Thursday.

I could've stayed 4 but wanted to go home! I regretted it when I got home! Should've stayed 4!

I had a c-section at 8pm fri nite, was discharged mon at 2pm. I was ready to go though. I probably could have stayed another nite. I don't have staples.

DS - Had him Wednesday evening and left Sunday morning. So 5 days/4 nights.
DD - Had her Wednesday morning and left Saturday morning. I had the option to stay another day but I wanted to get home to DS. So 4 days/3 nights.

3 nights (in Tuesday - scheduled section - home Friday)... I WISH I had stayed an extra night. For some reason I was adament about going home. Big mistake!

I had my DD on Tuesday afternoon and went home Friday morning.
BUT...I had been in the hospital since Monday afternoon when I was in labor, otherwise I would have been in the hospital until Saturday.

ditto I did the same both times and you would have thought I'd have learned after the first!
Left after 3 nights, with DC#2 doc asked me if I wanted to go home on the morning of day #3!!! I was like ahh I am 10 minutes into feeling human NO!
I recommend the 4, you can get around well enough after 3 but getting out of bed is a real beyotch. It would have been that much better to do at home by day 5.....

6 days/5 nights and they wanted me to stay longer but I wanted to bolt (in hindsight I definitely should have stayed longer) I had several complications during my c-section that led to my extended stay....

I had them on a Tuesday evening and I left on Saturday. I would have been allowed to leave on Friday but chose to stay the extra day.

5 days with DS1. My surgery was complicated.
4 days with DS2. I could have gone home after 3 days, but with a 1 yr old and 3 dogs at home, I looked forward to one more day in recovery.
Both were at Winthrop.
