Is there a thread or time line/guide while expecting?

On the best times (2 month before, 3 months before, after delivery, etc) to address certain things while expecting?

For example:

*When to get a pediatrician.
*When to add your child under your insurance plan.
*When to start locking down a daycare facility/nanny/childcare option if your family is not watching your child.
*When to do a hospital tour if you plan to do so.
*When to have your overnight bag packed.
*When to install your car seat.

I was just thinking of how The Knot used to send you a checklist based on your wedding date of when the best time was to start thinking about or addressing certain necessary tasks and wondering if there is something similar for expecting, LOL! Didn't see anything on Baby Center that was that organized per se and I'm not reading What To Expect, etc.

Well you can't add the child to your insurance plan until he/she is born. All the other things I think its safe to say you can do as far ahead of time as you want, (I don't know anything about the daycare scenario, but it doesn' hurt to inquire ahead of time!) I would say try to have these things done by the time you are 35 weeks or sooner.
