Re: JANUARY MOMMIES - POST ON THIS THREAD INSTEAD
Hey!
Feeling sluggish today - a little more nauseus than usual. My face looks like that of a 16 year old - zits all over the bottom half of my face (small enough that I can only notice, but red blotches for everyone else to notice).
I feel bloaty, and crampy - the little bean is definitely growing!
On Tuesday, dh and I will see (and maybe hear?) the hb - I'll be 7w2d by then.
All I want to drink is ICED TEA (decaf of course)- I need to drink more water today...

Re: JANUARY MOMMIES - POST ON THIS THREAD INSTEAD
Hi, I just turned 6 weeks on Friday, and my EDD is Jan 31, so I'm right on the cusp.
My lack of symptoms bothers me a bit sometimes. My boobes are sore, more so at ngiht and in the morning. Had some nausea yesterday, but I think it may have been the heat. On and off cramping too, but other than that I feel great. We were at a wedding last night, and I had tons of energy.
Tomorrow we go for a 6 week sono, where my Drs feel we'll be able to hear a HB, but I feel like it is too early for that.
Anyway, that is my story today.

Re: JANUARY MOMMIES - POST ON THIS THREAD INSTEAD
Im doing well. Still no symptoms besides some food aversions.
Had to go out and buy some maternity bottoms because the bella band could only do so much.
I am 9 weeks and go to my very first OB appointment on Wednesday since being released from my RE. I am exicted to see if my little blob looks anything more like an actual baby!!!!

Re: JANUARY MOMMIES - POST ON THIS THREAD INSTEAD
I am feeling pretty good, it is great! Besides being tired and bloated everything is great. My pants are really getting tight, it is a little scary!
I go to the dr on the 19th. That will be my first appt. since being released from my RE. I'll be 9 weeks. I am scared to death...I was so comfortable where I was!!!

Re: JANUARY MOMMIES - POST ON THIS THREAD INSTEAD
Hello Girls,
Today, I am exactly 7 weeks. I've been really exhausted since we found out that we were expecting. I will have my first ultrasound on Wednesday. By then, they should be able to hear the heartbeat. I am concerned about the lack of symptoms but I have read that some symptoms begin at week 7. I haven't really gained weight....so what is the deal with my waist line? I did go out to buy a pair of maternity wide pant cotton capris (Chocolate). They don't even look like maternity.
Great reading everyone's update!

Re: JANUARY MOMMIES - POST ON THIS THREAD INSTEAD
Hey All,
8 Weeks, 2 days here!!
Boobs still hurt, but sports bra def helps. No food adversions yet.
Worst thing is sleeping. I pee every 2 hours now and wake up none stop. I have a feeling it will be a LONG TIME until I get a solid 8 hours again.
Still soooo happy!!! My friend & sister are giving me some clothes to help me get by before I'll need to go out and get maternity clothes (secretly can't wait though).

Re: JANUARY MOMMIES - POST ON THIS THREAD INSTEAD
Hey everyone!!!
Yesterday the little peanut gave me a scare. I saw some blood in my cervical mucus yesterday morning and then a drop of blood in the water. I went to the ER and everything is fine thank god. I saw the heartbeat and I was soooooooo relieved. The baby's hb was 165 beats per minute. They did a pelvic exam and they didn't see any blood, but when they did the urine test there was some blood there and I was also dehydrated. The cough from hell that I have been dealing with they diagnosed me with broncitis and put me on some antibotics. I still can't sleep because of my coughing and to make matters worse, I sleep the wrong way on my left shoulder and I'm in extreme pain when I cough along with my ribs on the left side. I go to my ob/gyn tomorrow. What's strange is I thought I was 8 weeks and 2 days yesterday, but they had me at 7 weeks and I forgot how many days. I don't know. I'm taking it easy & staying in the AC. I'll update you all tomorrow after my appt.

Re: JANUARY MOMMIES - POST ON THIS THREAD INSTEAD
Hi All,
I am 8weeks 2 days today.. I had some more red spotting today. But the Dr. said it is normal because they saw fluid on the sonogram. It just makes me so nervous. Other than that I feel hung over everyday....

Feel Better! I hope I don't ever have that HUNG over feeling! No fun without the buzz! If your doctor said it was normal, I am sure you are fine!

Re: JANUARY MOMMIES - POST ON THIS THREAD INSTEAD
6/9 UPDATE: so we went for our 6 week sono and indeed saw the HB!!
It was amazing. The tech said that everything looked great, and that the baby was measuring right where it should be, and that "its" heartbeat was nice and strong!!
We are so blessed and excited for our little "beeby".

Re: JANUARY MOMMIES - POST ON THIS THREAD INSTEAD
6/10 Update - I just got back from my first ob/gyn appt since being released from my RE. The little peanut is doing well. I had a little bit of bleeding this morning, but it stopped. Actually the Dr. was more concerned with my coughing than with the baby. Thank god she gave me Robitussin w/codine. Hopefully that will do the trick along with the amoxicillin. This cough is just horrible and to add insult to injury, the coughing gets so bad that a little pee comes out of me and I have to wear pads. Hopefully tonight I can get some sleep because I feel like a walking zombie.

Re: JANUARY MOMMIES - POST ON THIS THREAD INSTEAD
Not much new here either. I went to the doctor yesterday for a follow up on my scare last week (I had severe cramping overnight). She did another sono--------the baby was moving all around like a jumping bean!
I scheduled that test today at LIJ in a few weeks where they do a sono and draw blood at the same time to test for Down's.

Re: JANUARY MOMMIES - POST ON THIS THREAD INSTEAD
FINALLY, at 7 weeks and 3 days, I had my first Sono! We did IVF and they had transferred 3 embryos. So it seems like forever to find out how many we are carrying. We saw one JUJUBEAN! We are so excited. We saw the heartbeat on the sono. I need to scan the picts.

Re: JANUARY MOMMIES - POST ON THIS THREAD INSTEAD
Thanks, Juju. Congrats on seeing the HB. Last night was a rough night for me. My coughing got so bad, that I actually threw up about 5 times. I stayed home from work and wasn't able to get any sleep during the day. Its 3:22am and it looks like I won't be going to work in the morning neither. Everytime I lay down, I get this tickle in my throat. I'm not getting it as much as when I'm sitting up and awake. I'm really at the end of my rope now. I don't know what to do anymore.
