Update: Going to the RE in the AM tomorrow for bloodwork. checking my Progesterone levels. Hopefully, they will tell me to get off the Progesterone in oil.

In the PM, going to my first OBGYN appt. Don't know what to expect. do they normally give you another sono?

according to last menstrual period, i was 12 weeks 1 day; according to baby's measurements, 11 weeks 5 days so there is a difference of 3 days
i "O"d late the month i got pregnant so i go with the 11 weeks 5 days as more accurate

ultrascreen was great
blood was nothing
NT #'s were very low so that was good and the dr. came in and explained a few other positive things he could tell already
now i just have to wait for the results to get my ratio but i was happy with how it went

My ultrascreen is next week and I will be exactly 12 weeks. I am exicted to see the little one again!

Still feeling good except getting HORRIBLE sinus headaches.

lastest update is that I am off the PIO. Just on Progesterone Caps. Yuck. I went in on Wednesday and we saw the heartbeat again. I actually referred my jujubean as a "he". The pronoun actually just came out of my mouth. The doctor started laughing and said, "oh , it's a he." My gut is telling me we are having a boy. My next OBGYN visit is in a month. I decided not to do the Ultrascreen or the Amnio.

ETA: Because I had an invasive and extensive myomectomy (removal of 8 fibroids each the size of an orange), he advised me that we will be doing a scheduled c-section. I will likely deliver two weeks earlier. My actual due date was 1/26 but now, it looks like early January!

I've been having a lot of headaches too.

I went for my sonogram yesterday but it turned out that somebody scheduled me to early so I have to go back next week. The girl tried to do it and but she couldn't, so she showed me the heartbeat again and gave me another picture. So at least I got another pic out of it...

I just turned 9 weeks. We're not really hiding it anymore, so that part is exciting. I feel really good. A bit tired sometimes, but I really can't complain. I'm so anxious to get back to the Dr to make sure my "little guy" is still doing OK! Ladies, we're almost out of the first trimester!!!!

Re: JANUARY MOMMIES - POST ON THIS THREAD INSTEAD

Its been a crazy few days for me. On Saturday, we moved to a new apartment. While the moving was going on, I had to go to my ob/gyn appt for my check up. Everything looks good. My blood test showed that I was a little anemic and my bp is borderline. She did a u/s and the baby was actually jumping around. The doctor was like I don't know if you saw that but the baby just jumped. She was trying to get it to jump again, but I said the kid is like its mother, don't try and make it do something that it doesn't want to do. When she said that the baby jump, I said well, it definately takes after its father Chat Icon Chat Icon
So now the fun begins with the unpacking. Today I just got back from Atlantic City. I've been there since Monday with my dad. Unfortunately, I didn't come home a winner, but the baby made out like a bandit with the clothes that I bought and I bought a cute Swarovski crystal rocking horse. I have to make an appt for the nuchal screening which I hope will be Saturday.

How cute! Glad to hear everything looks great!

I went to my RE on Thursday and as of this coming Thursday, I am off the vaginal capsules! Thank Goodness! I know DH is very happy!Chat Icon Chat Icon My parents are in town for my birthday and we have doing a lot of running around. WE also went to the Casino (Foxwoods). As for birthday gifts, between my Mother and MIL, I am so set with my maternity clothes. WEll, actually the only thing they didn't buy was pants. So I'll have to go out and buy some.

Today: I am 11 weeks.

Curious: How much weight has everyone gained? Do you know at what point you start gaining significantly? I gained 2 lbs. Which is amazing considering none of my pants fit!

Jen I feel the same way!!!! At my next sono I am going to ask if they can see anything yet, I'll be going July 10th for that Nuchal translucency test, I guess that's the same as the ultrascreen. I've been feeling these twinges and sometimes a sharp pain that travels up my hooha...lol Are you feeling anything like that???

I've lost 2 and a half pounds and I've got two in there and a noticeable belly. I read starting in the 2nd trimester its about a pound a week, does that sound right?
I was also told to expect to gain 40-50lbs. Chat Icon

Yesterday I went for the Nuchlar screening. This baby was so uncooperative Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon The baby was laying on its side facing outward and it would not move out of that position. This kid was poked around so much, it just would not move. I have to go back on Friday to do this all over again. A friend of mine who's mom is a high risk pregnancy sonogram technician suggested drinking some juice to get the kid going. Well I did get some new sonogram pics of the little peanut. There's one pic that it looks like the baby is flipping me off Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Only my kid.

Re: JANUARY MOMMIES - POST ON THIS THREAD INSTEAD

Hi all-

I'm almost 10.5 weeks and still feeling good. Not sure if I've gained any weight (god forbid I step on a scale!). Clothes still fit, and I had a belly going into all of this, so it's hard to say w/o looking at a number. Chat Icon

Next Dr's appt is Monday. So anxious to get there to be sure everything is OK, because most days I don't even feel PG, with the exception of some cramping, pulling, lower back pain and bloating.

Re: JANUARY MOMMIES - POST ON THIS THREAD INSTEAD

I have m/s all day long if I don't eat something every 2 hours or so. I'm exhausted and I feel like I'm always in a fog (like when you wake from a nap). I'm sure this will pass, and it is what it is right now. Starting to grow - my belly is noticeably larger to me. Not a baby-bump per se, but larger. In that inbetween fat and pregnant stage.

Going for my NT and bloods the week after next in week 13 (the last possible appt I can have b/c of grad classes all day this week and next). I hope they can still do all the testing the right way being that it's so close to the end of week 13.
