Curious: How much weight has everyone gained? Do you know at what point you start gaining significantly? I gained 2 lbs. Which is amazing considering none of my pants fit!

Ive LOST 5 and have a definate baby belly!!!

Im at 14w and ive lost 2lbs and had to buy maternity already...
how does that happen?!

Hi all-

I'm almost 10.5 weeks and still feeling good. Not sure if I've gained any weight (god forbid I step on a scale!). Clothes still fit, and I had a belly going into all of this, so it's hard to say w/o looking at a number. Chat Icon

Next Dr's appt is Monday. So anxious to get there to be sure everything is OK, because most days I don't even feel PG, with the exception of some cramping, pulling, lower back pain and bloating.

I don't feel PG either. I can't wait to feel a kick!

I do have the occassional cramping, pulling, lowerback pain and bloating.

Question: When Stretching (you know when you are sleepy and you stretch your arms out) do you feel tension around your uterus and cannot stretch as much as you normally would? It is such a weird sensation.

I'm excited to see this thread, even though I'm not pg anymore. There were very few January mommies last year and among the few that there were, several of them gave birth in December. I was very lonely when it came to the month threads. Chat Icon

Congrats to all the January mommies! (and all the other mommies2be too) Chat Icon Chat Icon

Welcome, Donna!!

We're actually due date twins. I'm not having any luck with the nuchal test. I went for my second one today and the kid just doesn't want to cooperate. I go back tomorrow early in the morning so hopefully the little monkey will be more active. I'm glad that everything was fine for you.

I can't believe it either. I just hope that its not a prelude for what's to come in the future Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
Well it took 3 IUI's for me to get pregnant, so hopefully 3 times a charm works for me again.

I've been feeling it too. Originally, I was feeling it on my lower left side, by my belly button. Last night and today, it was on my right side near my ribs. It felt like waves or fluttering.

I think I am, I am 13w1d... either that or I am close, lol. I am so confused by the trimester thing!

Donna - congratulations and welcome! I think we must have conceived on the same dayChat Icon

Jennifer - I hope your little one cooperates next time! We were lucky that they BOTH cooperated for the nuchal on the same day. The tech said that rarely happens!

Re: JANUARY MOMMIES - POST ON THIS THREAD INSTEAD

Again, thanks for the warm welcome!!

ER was 4/25 so I count that as my day of conception, with ET on 4/28, was that the same for you Lauren?

Juju, figuring this out is confusing but I think I'm starting my 4th month (13 weeks) so you must be finishing your 3rd.

My OB said I could color my hair (my roots are horrible) but I'm not ready to go to a salon and sit there with the fumes. Has anyone done it at home yet? I was going to do just the root touch up kit, its only on for 10 minutes.
what do you think?

I had my FET 4/25 and am due two days before you!

I got my hair high/low lighted the day I turned 12 weeks. I just couldnt stand it any more. I made sure to go outside and get some air a few times but the salon I go to is big and it wasnt even bothering me.
