Re: JANUARY MOMMIES - POST ON THIS THREAD INSTEAD

I haven't been sleeping - but laying down as standing and sitting is killing my azz and my back!
I am 15 weeks today!

Donna, I've been trying to walk when I can, but I've been too exhausted and in pain when I get home from work so been mostly on the weekends. I want to try prenatal yoga too, I think the stretching would help my back.

I'll be at the GTG tomorrow! I'm looking forward to it.

Why was the dr. discouraging you? Was this Dr. McKenna?

yea, my DH opened his mouth and said "ooh, the 20th wk sono, we can find out the sex, right?". The Dr. McKenna says "look, its totally your choice, but there are a few times in your life when you are truely surprised. That feeling in the delivery room is surreal when you don't know the sex vs. when you do". I still want to know. He made DH reconsider!

thats so funny. he didn't say anything to us. then again we didn't say anything about it. I used to think the same thing about it being a surprise. Then I realized its a surprise whenever you find out! There will be so many surprises the day you deliver - the biggest one being what your baby looks like!! I have never heard anyone say they regret finding out before delivery.

I know, and my DH is a sucker. You could sell him the Brooklyn Bridge. Any advice anybody gives my DH takes whole heartedly. Unlike cynical Kerry...

We will be sharing the genders - but we won't be sharing names.

I am pretty sure I am feeling movement- especially today.

I'm thrilled to be pregnant but I guess in my head I need to be further along before I start doing all the above

Hello Ladies,
Haven't heard any recent updates.

I'll begin.....
I will be 17 weeks this Sunday. My next obgyn appt. is Wednesday. I feel great! That's about it.

Have any of you registered? or bought anything significant? I haven't done a thing. When do you plan on registering?

Re: JANUARY MOMMIES - POST ON THIS THREAD INSTEAD

I will be 19 weeks on Tuesday.

DH and I have pretty much picked out everything for the baby and will register once the amnio results come back OK next week.

We decided that we will find out the sex but keep it a secret. The sono tech took a guess on Monday when I had my amnio but the baby was moving so much she wasnt really sure herself. I will know for sure when they call with the official results next week.

We still are very up in the air on names.

My level II is scheduled for the 27th.

Re: JANUARY MOMMIES - POST ON THIS THREAD INSTEAD

I'm just about 18 weeks. My next appointment is the 27th and my level II is the 29th.

We haven't registered or anything. We did take a trip to babies r us last weekend which "made it too real" for DH, lol.
We will register once we find out the sexes.
