Re: JANUARY MOMMIES - POST ON THIS THREAD INSTEAD
Well, my little monkey finally cooperated. I guess 3 times a charm definately works for me. I don't know if was because it was done early in the morning or because I didn't eat or drink. I got new pics of the baby including a 3d profile. What was funny was that while I was outside the building waiting to go in because we got there early, I heard a familiar voice asking me what I was doing here. It was my ob/gyn. So I told her that the baby wasn't cooperating and this was my 3rd visit. When I was in the office on Friday, the nurse discovered that I had a fibroid of substantial size - 7.9cm. I had lapo in March to remove an endometrioma on my left ovary, remove the endometriosis in my pelvic area and colon and also remove a fibroid. I don't know if this is a totally new fibroid or one that the doctor missed it. I mentioned it to my ob and she didn't seem too concern. She's going to look over my operation report to see if this might've been missed or what.

Alot of times, if the fibroid is too small, they won't bother removing it. I had a myomectomy over a year ago and they removed 8 fibroids but the doctor told me that there were tiny ones left behind. They felt it was too invasive to remove the others. Fibroids tend to grow or shrink with pregnancy and maybe, when they checked last time, it was tiny. I wouldn't worry too much about it!

Again, thanks for the warm welcome!!
ER was 4/25 so I count that as my day of conception, with ET on 4/28, was that the same for you Lauren?
Juju, figuring this out is confusing but I think I'm starting my 4th month (13 weeks) so you must be finishing your 3rd.
My OB said I could color my hair (my roots are horrible) but I'm not ready to go to a salon and sit there with the fumes. Has anyone done it at home yet? I was going to do just the root touch up kit, its only on for 10 minutes. what do you think?
I had my IUI on 4/25... so yep, our little ones are the same age!

and 4/25 is my anniversary so it's cool to know we "conceived" that day.
not sure if you IVFers have seen this calculator but it's cool because you can use retreival date.

I am delivering at StonyBrook. Being that my due date will be moved up b/c of my scheduled c-section, I may be delivering on the same day as most of you!

Have any of you thought of baby names? I thought this would be the easiest part but DH and I disagree on every name!! I hope we can figure it out in six months.

Re: JANUARY MOMMIES - POST ON THIS THREAD INSTEAD
I'm delivering at Winthrop.
Hoping it doesn't snow, I was born on January 17th (I'm due the 18th) and had to be taken home in a snow plow because there was a huge snow storm. It doesn't snow like that anymore though...

Re: JANUARY MOMMIES - POST ON THIS THREAD INSTEAD
Hi all-
I went for a Dr's appt today. We were supposed to hear the HB, but she couldn't locate the little bugger, and sent me for a sono immediately following to ensure all was OK. Thank God it was, and we got to see the baby alive and well.
With that, I announced who I was, so the ANON4NOW alias may be going, and I'm hoping to return to my LIW screen name of kris516.
2nd trimester is only 5 days away!!

Re: JANUARY MOMMIES - POST ON THIS THREAD INSTEAD
Wow, a whole 10 days and no updates! I am assuming that all of you ladies are either sleeping, eating or barfing! As for me, I've been sleeping.
Kris516, Congratulations!
Update on me: I went to the obgyn yesterday. He tried to hear the heartbeat but couldn't locate it. He did a sono instead. We saw the baby's heart beating and his (her) legs kicking away! It was too cute! According to my IVF cycle, I should be 13 weeks and 5 days but my OB mentioned that the baby is measuring at 12 weeks 5 days. NO biggie, I am having a scheduled c-section anyways.
Are any of you mommies going to the g2g this weekend? See you there!

Re: JANUARY MOMMIES - POST ON THIS THREAD INSTEAD
I've been sleeping too
So far so good, had an OB appt the other day and everything is looking good. I have my ultrasound (I guess its level 2) scheduled for early Sept. I think today I am 15 weeks.
I have to miss the gtg, I have other commitments but I hope you all have fun.
what are you ladies doing for exercise? I'm thinking of taking a prenatal yoga class.
