I think it is just going to be that this is going to be the last season, but they are contracted for 40 episodes & just started airing, so (not sure how many are filmed already), so it will probably go on until the beginning of next year.

 Yeah something stupid like that! I have heard the ratings are dropping on the show, I guess TLC had to step up the wow factor with the promos!

Ugh this show is getting on my last nerves, the only thing that keeps hanging on is the sextuplets. I wish the anounce,ent would be that jon and kate plus 8 will now be called Plus 8.

I actually hope they don't announce a separation or divorce on their show. How humiliating would that be for their kids, years down the line?These episodes don't just go away. I"m sure the kids will see all of them in time.

This is what Im thinking....I'm sure they are in a contract but Im sure a good lawyer could find a loophole...there had to be some stipulations set up that if it started to affect the quality of childrens lives they could stop etc...something to that extent...
Either that or they are announcing they are staying together ( for the medias purposes). They would NEVER break up nationally, they have managers/PR people who would skin them alive

I think they are done with the show and will move on and try to work things out.
I also think Jon probably gave that ultimatum.
I am really convinced (as of right now) that it isn't a divorce. I don't think it would have been such a drawn out commercial if it was.

i think they are gong to announce they are working it on their marriage and family and will stop the show
and then in about a month or 2 they will announce their divorce, -- weren't they separated or having problems way before they announced it as well?

Kate is being portrayed as the evil villian in this whole thing, but no one really seems to blink an eye at Jon galavanting around with other women, driving his little sports car, and not really seeming to give a damn. Yeah, he doesn't love the money too, a BMW, a $3200/month apartment.
How is he supposed to spend quality time with his 8 children from an apartment in Manhattan?
He wants to be a bachelor, plain and simple. I feel bad for the kids because it almost seems like he regrets having them.

I was never a fan of Kate, but Jon is to blame also.
I think he is just taking advantage of the nation's outrage over Kate's behaviour. He plays the victim really well.

I'm sorry but Ive seen so many episodes where Jon is down right mean to those kids. Early on, I remember an episode where he was literally pulling them out of those highchairs and sending them to time out. He was SO ANGRY over nothing. I dont see him as very nurturing at all..I see neither one of them like that. All I know is that Jon is planning to move pretty far from his 8 kids..and to me, there are way more choices than that.

Im getting really disgusted with Jon and Kate and TLC. Obviously they want you to think they are announcing a divorce.
This is a real family and a real marriage and if they are promoting the announcement of a divore to get viewers, its despicable.
