we were married in July 2007 and started trying in September 2008. We got pregnant in may of this year. So we got pregnant almost 3 years after getting married.

we're apparently idiots too cause i have #2 on the way and I only live in a small 2 bdrm appt.
Oh and it's on the 2nd floor of a building with no elevator. So imagine having to lug 2 kids up and down the stairs with all their crap
I should get rid of them now then

Haha, we were renting a 1 bdrm apt, then got accidentally pregnant and had to rent a 2 bdrm apt, I think that makes us worse

We pay  to live in a 1br/1ba apartment in NYC. We plan to move out of the city when we have  but for now we love city-living and aren't even thinking about looking for a  - I guess we'll join you in idiotland

A month I think, a month and a half. I was already 31 when we got married so was 32 when I had DS. We had already been living together for 6 years, that plus my age, there was no reason for us to wait so we didn't. We didn't have a house yet, we lived in our 1 bdrm apt until DS was 15 months old, we were fine.

We didn't really wait completely for that. It's silly to think you need a house in order to have a baby. All a baby needs is love. I just wanted to be sure I was financially and emotionally ready too. But some people almost make me feel as though we did something wrong by waiting so long.

It is NO ONE'S farking business why you wanted to wait or if someone wanted to get preggo during the damn wedding reception. Ignore those comments. Everyone has different paths in life and things happen when they are supposed to happen.
