 my lunch break is at 1:30.
There's always happy hour one of these days!! For god's sake, there is a bar downstairs from Roz and I and we've yet to hit it up.
I really want to check out The Liberty too...lets do this...Roz and Ang, chime in!
I'm crashing this lunch.
And to answer the original question...
I'm only in the city 1x per week. I am on the 7:57 going in and I can take the 4:54 home since I'm right across the street from Penn and as long as the LIRR is "running on or close to schedule" I'm home at about a quarter to 6.
I have one child.
I don't always eat breakfast but if I do I'll make oatmeal at home or grab a bagel. For lunch I go downstairs and get a salad or find a place to have a sandwhich or pizza.

What time do you leave the house/ get home?
I leave at 7:30 and get home around 6:00
Do you have kids? yes, I drop DS off at my moms before getting on an express bus.
What do you have for breakfast and lunch?
I bring my own breakfast and lunch because its just to expensive to pay for it everyday.
Breakfast is a cup of coffeE with a KIND bar, a cup of greek yogurt and a banana.
Lunch is usually quinoa with avocado, tomato, chick peas and onion tossed with EVOO & red wine vinegar. Some triscuit crackers and a few slices of chicken breast.

I usually leave around 7:30 and get home around 5:15

Yes. When i leave for work I drop of DD at preschool. DS stays at home with my MIL.
What do you have for breakfast and lunch?
Breakfast I almost always buy once I get to work. Usually some kind of egg white omelet or oatmeal and a cup of coffee. Lunch depends on how busy I've been at home  . I try to bring lunch regularly though because it can get expensive . I will bring leftovers from home mostly. If I buy, I usually get a salad or some kind of wrap/sandwich. Once in a while I'll get sushi.

yes a 2.5 year old

breakfast 3.75 a day eggwhites and cheese on wheat break and a small coffee
lunch bring dinner from home or spend 10 dollars at caf
before kids never bothered me now with a son i rather spend everyday with him

I don't work in the city, but I have a long commute (50+ miles each way):
What time do you leave the house/ get home?
Leave 8:30 ti drop DD and on the road by 9 (work 10-6)
Never home before 7, usually 7:30-8
Do you have kids?
Yes, one DD (almost 2)
What do you have for breakfast and lunch?
Don't eat breakfast (never did) just my large unsweetend iced tea
*IF* I eat lunch it's a salad or sandwhich I grab. About once a month we go to Moe's to sit and eat (our big treat, LOL)

I leave at 705am I get home at 520pm
Do you have kids? One DD who is 9 months
What do you have for breakfast and lunch?
I have oatmeal for breakfast
I bring two snacks ( moz cheese stick and a 90 cal bar) for lunch I bring a healthy choice meal. Once in a while I'll eat out with a friend

Ladies that work in the city- questions
I work in the city four days a week.
I leave my house at 7:45 and I am home anywhere between 6:15-6:45.
I have a 13 month old DS.
I usually eat either oatmeal at my desk or maybe I will pick something up. If I am trying to save money I will bring sandwiches but more often than not, I buy lunch outside. I am really trying not to do it but I have a hard enough time getting myself ready in the AM, let alone packing a lunch!

I leave my house at 7:30 am to get into work by 8:30 (or earlier) and I get home late usually...7pm most days. I work late most days by choice though. I could get home by 5-5:45pm if I wanted to. I do not have kids.
I prepare my breakfast and lunch the night before everyday and I grab coffee on my way in each morning.

In city 2 days a week. (WFH 3).
3 kids.
Leave my house at 7 with 2/3 kids, drop them off at school and take 7:30 bus. (I am in NJ). Leave office at 5, home around 7.
Bring breakfast (oatmeal, fruit, granola bar) buy lunch, usually salad.
