Laundry Room Floors
What type of floors do you have in your laundry room?
Our laundry room is about the size of a bedroom and I'm going to turn it into a laundry/craft room. I'm trying to decide on floors. There is nasty industrial carpet in there now.

Re: Laundry Room Floors
Our laundry room is the size of a small bedroom too & we plan on also using it as a pantry eventually. We put down 12x12 sticky vinyl tiles that we got from Home Depot and they look nice (I believe that they came with a 5 or 10 year warranty). We plan to give it a few years and if it starts to look funny with time we plan on replacing them with regular tile. It's already been 9 months, though, & so far, so good. It still looks great!

Re: Laundry Room Floors
We have commercial grade tile in that room -- and it looks really nice. We put it down (well, our friend did) because the concrete underneath was nuts and DH wanted a really secure tile. I was surprised about how nice it looked!

Re: Laundry Room Floors
In our first house we put ceramic tile and in our house now their is slate. I would go for some sort of tile. It is so easy to keep clean.

I think we're going to go this route.
