About your Laundry Room. Where is it located?
I seen a few LR and they seem to be located in the basement here. Is yours also located in the basement?

Yes on the other side of the building.
ETA: apartment building, not a house.
My step sister has her laundry room on the same floor as her bedroom. I think most houses that are older have them in a basement or the first floor.

Second floor next to the master bedroom. I moved the w/d to the second floor since there was already plumbing there.

I WISH we could do this!!! Ours in our basement. I hate climbing up 2 flights of stairs with all the clothes! My parents house is the same thing.

Ours is right off the kitchen. I love it there, since I can hear when the machines stop. Makes it easier.

This was one thing my husband was 100% right about. He suggested it and I fought it at first but now I'm so glad I did it.
Our basement is unfinished and we just store crap down there. Also, two of our litter boxes are down there.

Now, 22 Years later, my mom is still kicking herself.

Not that he helps now..
I think even if we were able to move it upstairs, DH would help the same way...simply by watching me do the wash.

I have an expanded ranch-so 2 BD down and 2 up in a cape style-My laundry room is a part of the garage-right off the hallway by the front door. Its convenient
