Let's start a "Stupid Comments from strangers" thread..
1) The other day at Burger King, I ordered a mac and cheese and chocolate milk kids meal for Ava.
For myself, I ordered a burger and a diet coke.
The girl at the register, who looked all of about 15 says "You are going to drink soda when you are pregnant !"
I felt like saying, "Yeah, and then I'm going out in the parking lot to smack my daughter around, and then have a hit at my crack pipe!"
MYOB!!!!!!!!
2) I am picking up prescriptions at CVS the other day.
The lady at the register asks when I am due. I tell her.
Then she asks if I am having this baby at Good Sam (it is right down the road). I say "No, Southside".
Then she says "Why Southside ?"
So, then I am forced to tell her and the 50 other stangers on line behind me - "Because I am getting my tubes tied."
Then she has the nerve to say
"That's crazy, you're too young."
MYOB, you old bat!!!!!!!!!

I will tell you one that my patient said to me yesterday....."Are you sure you are having a boy?? You know you are carrying all over, like you are having a girl. With boys you have a basketball".......I wanted to stab her with an instrument

with my first pregnancy i was in a greek resturant and i had one of the manager's ask me if i was having twins. i said no, just one. he said are you sure...you're huge. at went on and on for about 10 mins. my sister almost punched him.
this time i was in bru's and i ran in with dd who is almost 2 to grab one thing. she was holding my hand. when we got to the counter to pay she wanted me to hold her. so i picked her up which i do everyday. the lady says to my dd "your mommy is having a new baby and she can't hold you anymore" than she turns to me and says..."you know that's not good for the baby you need to put her down". mind you own freaking business. it took every bone in my body not to curse her out. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
people really don't think before they speak.

Thanks. This woman is infamous for having diarrhea of the mouth. After 9 years with my DH, I finally learned to just brush her stupid comments aside.

With my first pregnancy...
You're showing more so in your butt. (co-worker)
In my 8th month, I walked into stop and shop and these two guys were giggling and looking at me (adult, grown men, mind you). When I walked past them, one of them (who happened to be balding) said, Wow, that's some belly and burst out laughing with his buddy.
I tured to him and said. My belly goes away after 9 months, your bald head is forever. He friend started laughing at him then.

all of these comments are from the same woman at work:
- are you sure you're not having twins?
- (said two months ago) you're only six months? wow, you're so big you look like you are due any second!
- i only gained 15 lbs my whole pregnancy with my son. (this woman weighs about 90 lbs soaking wet and her son is 24. different times, people, different times.)
- seriously, it's not twins?
and from my sister:
- you know, this is the only time in life where i'll be skinnier than you! (yeah, sorry, just because you don't have a big belly doesn't make you skinnier.)
- you're waddling! (no, i'm trying not to pee in my pants)

I got this yesterday. I went for my glucose test and I'm sitting there waiting after drinking the solution, this older woman sits nexts to me and asks me when I'm due I said October, she said Oh, is there something wrong with your baby that your getting blood test I said no just a routine test for diabetes, she then looks at my left hand and said "oh good your married, so many young girls today just go out and get pregnant without the benefit of being married" She then asks if this is my first I said no 2nd.....wait for it....."do they have the same father"

I would have told her it was her own son's fault!!! Maybe she didnt know that the male controls the sex of the baby - really sorry but that is just DUMB!!
