LIRR monthly ticket question
If I have a monthly LIRR ticket from Wantagh (zone 7) to Penn (zone 1) can I use it on the Port Washington branch for a zone 3 (Auburndale) to zone 1 (Penn)?

Yes
FYI: Last time I travelled somewhere past the zone my monthly was for I only had to pay the difference in the rate. No surcharge
