milk allergy/icing question
I need to get the cupcake for Colin's 1st shoot. Stupid question - is most icing dairy free/pure sugar?

Re: milk allergy/icing question
No-buttercream is the common frosting and it has butter.
Try Whole Foods-I believe they have vegan cupcakes-can Colin have soy? I know they use soy as a replacement.

Re: milk allergy/icing question
No, but you can order a tub of dairy free frosting from Divvies for $5 plus shipping.
I'm not sure if Babycakes in NYC sells just their frosting but that's another option.
When I make cakes at home I use Dunkin Hines Whipped Fluffy White frosting since I've never had luck trying to make my own with the ingredient substitutes.

Re: milk allergy/icing question
I just bought Duncan Hines white frosting for DS's cake smash. It has no dairy or soy in it. DS is allergic to both....It has soybean oil in it...But that is ok for him...
