Milk allergy moms please help DD is sick
I started DD on earths best oatmeal cereal yesturday and she's been gagging and spit up thick mucousy stuff, very gassy all last night and today (sorry if TMI). She's been so unbelieveably fussy today. I didn't read any milk products on the box could it be possible that it contained dairy?
What cereal do you use? I'm not sure what to do.

My DD also has a milk allergy and we were told by the ped to use Beech Nut cereal. He said there is nothing in it that would affect the allergy.

really? We were told the opposite..Beechnut has soy protein in it and most milk allergy babies also have soy protein allergies.
As far as the Earths Best, I have been using that too and Chloe seems to be really fussy and spitting up a lot lately too...but I looked all over the web and no hidden non listed ingredients. I think our issue is teething. I think you should be fine.
If you REALLY wanna go all out, you can make your own cereal ... The book Super BAby Foods by Ruth Yarn has directions, I know a friend does that and says its not hard.

I wanted to add that ALL cereal usually creates a TON of gas, both of my girls have been gassy beasts since we started cereal.

Our ped GI told us specifically to use Beechnut or Earth's Best because there was no soy or milk proteins in either.
