Re: missing malaysia airplane....

Until physical evidence shows up, I am sticking with my alien abduction theory. Call me crazy, but I do believe alien life forms have and continue to visit our planet daily. This reminds me of Flight 19 - another case which remains a mystery to this day.

Re: missing malaysia airplane....

But why were all the locators off? Why was the transporter off? Why were they flying below the altitude to allow commercial radars to see it? Why did it turn around? Why was there not one text or call from one passenger?

The whole thing is so weird. Is it even possible to pirate a jet?

It took 5 days to find the first sign of of AF 447 in 2009, 2 male bodies then 6 days for the first sign of wreckage. They never sent a distress signal, and it took 2 years to recover the black boxes.

They found debris one-two days after it disappeared.

I thought they confirmed it wasn't plane debris?

Re: missing malaysia airplane....

Flight 19 was the designation of five TBM Avenger torpedo bombers that disappeared over the Bermuda Triangle on December 5, 1945 during a United States Navy overwater navigation training flight from Naval Air Station Fort Lauderdale, Florida. All 14 airmen on the flight were lost, as were all 13 crew members of a PBM Mariner flying boat assumed by professional investigators to have exploded in mid-air while searching for the flight. Navy investigators could not determine the cause of the loss of Flight 19 but said the aircraft may have become disoriented and ditched in rough seas after running out of fuel.

Yes, thank you!

My mind is just boggled. How can there be no debris anywhere? With Air France they found something and that was in the Atlantic with a depth much more than the seas they are searching now. Usually there is debris somewhere...

If you have an hour or so, this program is pretty interesting-- well it was yesterday! Not sure if info has changed since then...

ETA: How are there no satellite images? That area of the world, I'm sure, is heavily saturated with satellites.

Per CNN.com , Chinese satellite has picked up several floating objects near the strait of Malacca.

Re: missing malaysia airplane....

Let's see if this is really true. I just can't see how a 777 can crash so suddenly...

ETA: Apparently, Malaysia Airlines isn't doing so well financially.

I saw on the news tonight an expert saying he didn't think the object that Chinese satellite picked up was the plane since there wasn't other debris around it.

Is it even possible for a jet of that size to crash into the water and just sink? Without breaking apart, exploding, etc. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

At this point this seems to be the only logical explanation. But what truly truly confuses me is over 200 passengers. Not one quick text? Phone call? Anything??? Unless they were in such a "no service" area; nothing could go thru.

Re: missing malaysia airplane....

I am obsessed.....and completely baffled by this story. How is it you can find a tiny iPhone using an app, but no one can locate an airplane. I think there is definately a cover up of some kind.

i am sure that I learned that hitting the water with that speed and from that height is like hitting concrete. There is nothing to indicate that the plane was attempting a "water landing." This whole thing hurts my brain.Chat Icon

Well the Chinese Satellite image is looking to be nothing. Those poor families.

I did find the above article interesting. It basically states that engine data is transmitted periodically to Rolls Royce, and they can use that data to get a better idea of where the plane is since the transponder was turned off. I find that wider range circle a bit frightening Chat Icon .

But who knows at this point?

Re: missing malaysia airplane....

It was NOT debris from the plane. Aviation at the airports are saying accoring to downloaded data, the plane flew for 5 hours. So it must be a lot further away than they are searching

missing malaysia airplane....

I believe it's related to terrorism, and I think the authorities know it, but are keeping quiet. It would obviously affect world economies, trade, infrastructure, etc. I think the cockpit was stormed, maybe by the guys with the stolen passports, turned off the transponder and it crashed.
Read about the Bojinka plot from 9/11, where they attempted to hijack 12 planes (using stolen passports). They did a trial run on a phillipine plane, but no terror groups claimed responsibility, because they were testing this plot to see if it was successful. This sounds real similar
