Re: Moms, what is your grocery bill monthly and how many people are in your family?
700-800 a month for 2 adults, and 2 kids (8 and 13). But, we eat a fair amount of fish, fresh produce and some organic.
We also eat out less (maybe 4 times) a month, largely because we're trying to eat healthy.

Re: Moms, what is your grocery bill monthly and how many people are in your family?
probably about 500-600 per month. We are a family of 5. 2 adults, 1- 10 year old, 20 month old, and 8 month old.
We shop and eat mostly whats on sale. We live on chicken cutlets, chop meat and pasta since they seem to be on sale the most lately.
The highest portion of our grocery bill is the frest fruit and veggies.
Me and DH bring lunch to work.

Re: Moms, what is your grocery bill monthly and how many people are in your family?
$500-$600 a month for two adults, 6,4 and 8 month old. I cook at home all the time, we eat healthy (no frozen meals, etc) and DH brings his lunch every day.
The trick is to plan your menus and then stick to them. I sit down with the store ad and plan my meals based on what meats, etc are on sale. Cross reference with coupons, etc. I try to make everything fresh, down to french fries. Its a lot cheaper and healthier to cut up a potato and drizzle it with olive oil, salt and pepper and pop it into the oven than it is to buy frozen.
Cook with what you have on hand. Designate one week that you will use what you have in the pantry...you'd be amazed how far it goes when you try this approach. Its like a fun challenge!

Re: Moms, what is your grocery bill monthly and how many people are in your family?
I do Peapod once a month which includes everything except produce and paper goods. That total is usually around $350. I go shopping for produce weekly, but if I add it up its probably about $60 per month. So in total we spend about $410 a month for DH, DS (2.5) and myself.
Paper goods (paper towels, napkins, toilet paper, paper plates, etc) is done more like every 2 months at BJs and the bill is usually less than $200.
I cook dinner a minimum of 5 nights for all of us. And I make/serve breakfast at home at least 6 days a week for DS and I.

Re: Moms, what is your grocery bill monthly and how many people are in your family?
2 adults and two kids + 1 extra adult for dinner 5x per week. About $300 at bJs about every three-four weeks. Then 80- 150 at grocery store. We order in once per week and generally I do not make lunch for kids. I eat lunch at home everyday.

I'm guessing around $600/month for 3 people (DH, myself & DS who is 9 months). The reason it's so high is because I eat 95% organic, and can only eat certain foods because of DS's allergies (I'm BFing). So most of what I buy is a specialty item, and of course nothing I eat EVER goes on sale
ETA: DH brings food to work sometimes, but also buys lunch/dinner at work. That's an additional $300
About the same-we spend about 70-80 a wk on the boys food and then another 80 or so on ours Organics are very expensive

There are 3 of us. DD is 19 months, DH and i. We spend $80/week on groceries so about $300 per month total. I try very hard to keep each week's grocery bill under $80.

I do this as well. I try to make everything from scratch when I can since it's healthier, and more economical. I'm always buying tons of oatmeal, yeast, whole wheat flour, potatoes, brown rice.

Around $500 a month for 2 adults, a 5 yo and a 2 yo. This does not include eating out though-- we eat out 1 breakfast per weekend, DH buys lunch at work 2x a week, and we do an inexpensive family restaurant or takeout maybe once or twice a month.
We buy some organic things but are not hard-core organic.
