More questions about the 30 day shred - I'm not sure if I should be bummed
I'm on week 3 of WW and today will be day 5 of the 30 day shred. I am still on level 1 (advanced girl) but I have felt a difference in strength (I can do all the girlie push ups now) but I havent seen a difference in my body. So, before starting the workout, I was losing 2-3 pounds per week on my diet (I was doing the Special K diet before WW) and yesterday and today, I gained 1 pound per day. My ONLY motivation for dieting and especially working out is seeing even a literal ounce of weight loss... I have NOT been cheating on my diet, actually having points leftover every day! WHY am I back to a week ago's weight? My DH says its muscle weight I'm gaining and maybe it could be a woman's monthly fluculation but its VERY disheartening to gain 2 pounds when I am busting my butt on a diet and literally speaking as well. Can anyone help? Thanks.

The super big thing on WW is to consume 100% of your points every day. Having points left over screws up your metabolism.

I wouldn't focus so much on your actual weight. For me, it's more about how I feel and how my clothes fit. My pants might feel looser but my weight could be exactly the same. With the weight training, you're toning your muscles so you will eventually become slimmer, but not necessarily "lighter" if that makes any sense. Don't be a slave to the scale!
Also, day 5 is still a bit early to see results from a workout I think. Give yourself a little more time and stick with it!

After 5 days of exercising it is highly unlikely that the gain you see is from building muscle. It is more likely that you are retaining a little bit of water. Try not to focus on the scale so much. Keep up WW and give yourself a month of exercise before you get discouraged. Also try to eat all of your points!

Ditto! Muscle weights more than fat, that could be why your scale went up! But either way, the scale is just a number - No one is going to go up to you and say oh wow i see where you gained that 1pound...
Hang in there and do what you are doing - IF you feel good about you then don't stop or get discourged!
