My 2 mongh old has a fever

On Tuesday both Landon (2 mos) and Logan had fevers. Landon had 100.5 and Logan 100.7. Later that day we also found out Logan was getting his bottom 2 year molars in.
We took both boys to the Ped that day and she said if Landon seemed uncomfortable I could give him tylenol. He seems fine, he's eating and peeing, coincidentally he's been pooping less than normal-don't know if it has anything to do with being sick.
Landon's throat is also a little red she said. That must be why he doesn't cry as much as he usually does.
I feel so bad that Landon has a virus. Logan didn't get his first cold till he was 6 months, which happened to be winter time.

Has anyone gone threw this with their newborn? I don't know if I should give him the tylenol or not? According to his weight, he's currently at 13lbs, she said I should give 0.6 on the tylenol dropper.

ETA: forgot to mention that Landon's temp during the night goes down in the 99s then up again in the 100.1-100.5 range.
