My boss is starting to panic again
When I was pregnant with Ryan, I wanted to work up until the end. By my 37th wk, my boss started freaking I would give birth at the office. I tried to explain first pregnancies don't work like that. Anyway, my due date was March 30 - he gave me extra leave just to stop coming in and wanted my last day to be March 20 - that happens to be Ryan's birthday  I was at the office til 11PM on March 19 and had Ryan at 10:24AM the next morning - almost came in.
Now, I'm almost 37 wks and he started the comments earlier this wk that I'm going too long. I'm working from home today b/c I have a MD appt and my asst said my boss told the CFO/Office Manager he wants me to stop working again.
Honestly, my house is under construction - I'm actually more comfortable at work - sadly.
But, we'll see - I might end up with another 4 month paid leave just b/c I'm freaking him out
It's so funny, he really looks so uncomfortable just to look at me

Ha my boss asked me if I would leave a month before bc he said 'I dont want to see any fluids coming out of you" HA
I said I am going to torture him and work until the very end!
He is scared!!

Lucky you. When I was PG with DD my due date was 1/5/08 so I was going to work until New Years Eve (which was a half day by the way). When the time came I was just done. We were so slow at work I figured I just start my leave one day early.
You would think I asked my boss for an extra month. "You said you'd work until the 31st blah blah blah."
I was so mad. No compassion at all. Not to mention I had only taken 1, that's right 1 sick day the entire pregnancy.
Maybe this time I'll squat behind my desk give birth and go back to my computer.
