Do we think Cuomo is going to adopt these rules and how are they going to know Who is vaccinate and who is not.
Is A retail store really going to stop people and say are you vaccinated prove it before you come in without a mask???!!!

No more masks for vaccinated people..... Indoors and outdoors
As someone that medically can't get the vaccine, this terrifies me. My oncologist won't allow me to get it until another month and now people are going to be walking around with no masks - including people that don't want to get vaccinated and hated being forced to wear them.

And it says that private businesses can still require them- so what will this really change?
Will there be a guy at the door at Target asking for your papers?
Imagine the logistics of that?

But they totally should announce you no longer need to wear a mask while driving alone in your car so we can end that phenomenon once and for all.

UPDATE: If you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, you can resume activities that you did before the pandemic without wearing a mask or staying 6 feet apart, except where required by federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial laws, including local business and workplace guidance.

The governor of Maryland said once 70% of adults are fully vaccinated, he will fully lift all mask mandates. My guess is the tri state area will do something similar...we are at 60% here in NY so it shouldn't be too much longer until we hit that.

I've only been around my vaccinated boyfriend and his kids this entire time. Since I'm immunocompromised, I've been double masking since September but that doesn't stop people from spreading it to me. At least previously I've felt mostly ok going to the grocery store when everyone is masked, so I hope that the stores continue to require masks so I can not worry about it as much until I can get vaccinated.

Do you have a link as I don’t find it that high?
Go to ny.gov and click on news and then find the link with the vaccine number updates. I can never link properly on here.
My mistake, it's 61% of adults with at least one dose but that means we are still well on our way to 70% fully vaccinated.
