I never had a problem with the consistency, my DD loves it. I do however sometimes add some ground flax seed to it, that makes it thicker.
my ped said to not use adult yogurt until 2 years old. I never thought to ask why...maybe the cultures?

IDK . . . if you read the ingredient list on Stonyfield Farm full fat adult yogurt, and compare it to YoBaby, there is no difference.

Stonyfield makes non yo baby whole milk organic yogurt too - I used to buy the plain (they also have vanilla) and then add in a earth's best fruit to it for the flavor. I thought it was thicker than the yo baby - but then again we never had any issue with the yo baby.
