NPR: Does insurance cover massage therapist??

So i thought i was having kidney problems (since kidney issues run rampant on my father's side of the family) but it turns out it's back related. GP sayd my back probablt got knocked out of whack during my ovary surgery in December when they were shifting me around. GP wants me to see a chirpractor but DH doesn't want me to because he has seen people who go to the chiropractor and it becomes an addiction and they have to keep going back over and over again to feel good again. I have to do something, would a massage therapist help? Im not sure if insurance would cover, i could get a referrel from my GP.

I would go to a chiro or physical therapist if you are uncertain of a chiro.

and as far as an addiction, I think that's not correct. I feel that once you have a back problem, you are in for the long haul. You will always have to get adjustments and keep going back...
