NYC Teaching Fellows

Hi All!
I was recently accepted to the NYC Teaching Fellows to teach Special Ed. I was in the middle of a MA/PhD, and decided to stop after the MA to teach. I will be looking for a job over the summer. Anyone know of any good schools I should look into? I am going to be certified to teach secondary special ed.

I have so many questions about the NYC DOE and special ed, and so little time to acclimate myself! I would LOVE any advice that current or former DOE teachers have!

I am a Teaching Fellow currently working in a Long Island school. It was a fantastic career move and I do not regret it at all!!

My advice for you is to start applying to school ASAP! You never know who will be hiring at the start of next year!
