Our level 2 is 13 days away! Can't wait!
I have been feeling movement for a few weeks now, I can't for full on kicks!
Hi! Mine is on 5/23. CANNOT wait. I WISH there were a way that I could find out NOW! lol
I have been feeling movement too (flutters and bubbles). I've also started lactating, so my breasts are huge right now. They look real good though. LOL
Lucky! My pregnancy boobs have not kicked in yet.
With each pregnancy, mine start lactating sooner and sooner. They are actually sore though.

So glad the amnio went well. I am still debating whether I am going to get one or not. I have family history of DS and mental retardation, but my Ultrascreen #s came back fine... not sure what I am gonna do. I guess clear fluid usually means all is well?
Love your DDs names!! Great choices!

Re: October Mommies Thread
thank you ladies.
The fluid being clear, I guess its a good thing, they brought it to my attention. my first cousin is developmentaly delayed so I thought it would be best and there is a history on my moms side too. ( her distant cousins in puerto rico) it really was so easy, a slight pinch like getting a shot, didnt feel anything when the needle was in, but felt a pinch again when the needle came out. no cramping or pain in area, I would do it again if we decide to TTC in the future. it really rules out everything and the accuracy is more definitive. I cant wait for the results and to see if the tech was right and its def a girl- she said she wasnt sure but Im sure she was just saying that too

Re: October Mommies Thread
Hello all!
Nothing major to report. Had my ob visit last week. Ultrascreen results were great! The baby has greater than 1 in 10,000 chances of having Down or any of the Trisomys. So we were ecstatic to hear that. Level II is scheduled for 6/12/08. I am still on the fence about finding out. One minute I want to know and the next minute I want to be surprised.
Still no movement yet. I am hoping to feel something soon.

Re: October Mommies Thread
I haven't heard back about my AFP results, which is a good thing I think. The doctor won't usually call unless it is bad news.
My Level 2 is in 5 days! Woo-Hoo! I am so excited I can't wait! My DD keeps asking when she gets to see her baby sister, so I hope that it is a girl so she gets her wish. But I would be just as happy with a boy, of course.

Re: October Mommies Thread
Just came back from a 45 minute wait at good ol' Quest Diagnostics for my Quad Screen, Tay Sachs and Chromosomal Analysis Tests. I wonder if my doctor will have the results by Monday afternoon.

Re: October Mommies Thread
I went to genetic counseling for my level 1 and everything looks pretty good. I went to my regular gyno appointment last night and I heard the babies heart beat. I was given a blood test for the quad screen and she also gave me a referral for my level 2.

Re: October Mommies Thread
AFP results came back negative for me, and had my level II sono yesterday, and everything is progressing how it supposed to be, though the baby is measuring a week sooner than my EDD. Chose not to find out the gender, though I'm DYING!
