Odd Question.... UPDATE with pic link!
does anyone feel like they are carrying the baby really like "inside".... rather than up front?
I don't know how to explain it. But I feel like some of my friends are carrying more outside their body... and mine is more internal.
I know this must sound so stupid and ridiculous. But I don't know how to explain it.

Re: Odd Question....
I hear you! I feel a majority of the movement deep inside, but I don't realize how deep it is until I can't get DH to feel it....or I can't even feel it myself from the outside.

EXACTLY!!
My movements all feel SOOOO SOOO DEEP inside!! not at all near the outer part of me. haha. it sounds so dumb to write! the are also rather low too.
but no dh cannot feel anything from the outside and i barely can either!!
this actually makes me nervous for if i need a c section.

Re: Odd Question....
I totally think that. I'm 39 weeks tomorrow and my stomach is very stretched and sort of square with like a flat surface where the bellybutton is... The baby was measured 7lbs9oz this week but everyone keeps saying I don't even look that big. I don't feel too much heaviness and deff don't look like I'm gonna tip over even being so close to the end
PS: do you happen to have an anterior placenta? cuz that's how it sounds like and it's what I have as well

I'm not too sure what that is.
No one has told me that I have it. I've been to 3 doctor's so far. haha. doctor hopper!!
My first dr was dr b and he checked the placenta a few times... but all were before the 9 week mark.
the 2nd dr never really checked anything.
and the 3rd doctor I had the level 2 with... and it wasn't mentioned. I don't recall much placenta checking either, but she might have. IDK.
How would they know? When would they know?
I'm assuming not, only because no one has said anything to me.

Re: Odd Question....
an anterior placeta just means the placenta attached to the back wall of the uterus so that it is takes longer to herar the heart beat and kicks usually - i had one withmy son and felt movements like you described - i deliered my son vaginally

It's has very insignificant medical implications just means that the baby positioned itself behind the placenta so it acts as a cusion between the baby and your stomach so you feel less movement, dh might not feel movement at all and the baby has more space to grow on the inside and not stick out as much. I found this out pretty early but that's cuz I see a high risk my OB never mentioned it I had to mention it to him

Re: Odd Question....
OK sooo....
I have a few sono pics... and the placenta is like right infront of the baby's face.
so the baby isn't quite up against me... the placenta is there... and then me.
idk what that means though.
ETA: I'm going to post a pic in my album of what I'm talking about.

20 week sono pics album
OK so I posted 3 of the 20 week sono pics in here. The thing you see infront of her face... that like mountain looking thing, I was told is the placenta.
Is that what you mean??

Re: Odd Question.... UPDATE with pic link!
I think with me he is just turned facing my back, so kicks and punches go in that direction. I'm sititng here right now watching my stomach shift and shimmy like it is possessed right now, but from the outside I can really only see or feel the big movements...kicks are rare.
I've never heard them mention where the placenta is.

Re: Odd Question.... UPDATE with pic link!
OH WOW!!
Look what I found!!!
You guys are right!! i think I have this...
check out this diagram....
the one on the right is the anterior placenta
it looks exactly like how the sono pic of my placenta is... right in the baby's face.
this is making more sense now. I'm going to ask about this at my next dr appt!!
