30 mins running / walking on treadmill

Finally back to the gym! I had about 6 weeks off b/c of my vacation to the US and I put my membership on hold. I am ready to get working out again. I also got some new sneakers which really make a difference. Chat Icon

Crossfit WOD 11/25/08

"Shredded Legs"
2 ROUNDS FOR TIME -

WITH 800 M RUN IN BETWEEN THE 2 ROUNDS:

25 Double Unders or 125 Singles (jump rope)
5 Push Ups
25 Box Jumps
5 Push Ups
25 Air Squats
5 Push Ups
25 Walking Lunges
5 Push Ups
25 Burpees
5 Push Ups
25 Double Unders or 125 Singles (jump rope)

My time - 25:41

THEN: 4 MINUTES (8 Rounds) TABATA AIR SQUATS

I did 92 squats total. It was 20 seconds on and 10 seconds rest for 4 minutes.

Warmup was 800M run.

This workout was killer!

We went to crossfit on thanksgiving morning 9am!!

Warmup was two 400M runs with a name game in between (throwing a 12-16 lb ball to eachother).

WOD was a fun one. Each exercise was worth 1 or 2 points (we had partners) and we had to rack up the most points to win. The exercises included 400 & 800M runs, squats, jump rope, pull ups, push ups, box jumps, kettle bell swings, burpees, wall balls, walking lunges, etc... at varying reps. We had to keep track and add up our points at the end.

DH and I racked up 70 points together. The winners had 100 points between them! Chat Icon

Crossfit Workout 12/2/08

Warmup: 800M run
3 Rounds of: 2 x Samson stretch/ 5 Shoulder Dis./ 10 OHS (squats) / 10 Push Ups / 10 Sit Ups / 10 Straight Leg Kicks (each leg)

Basic Foundational Movement: Shoulder Press / Push Press / Push Jerk

Workout of the day:
3-3-3-3-3-3-3 (Push Press/Jerk) with 10 Box Jumps between each set. (7 sets of 3 reps push press/jerk upping the weight each time).

Sprint Drills (4 - 100M sprints)

Shoulder Press / Push Press / Push Jerk Progression to Failure (light bar)
