Today I feel ok thank you! All issues with platelets and placenta are still there and I get them checked next week. Keeping my fingers crossed! Today was a bit of relief bc I felt pretty decent! Thanks for thinking of me! Glad everyone's doing well!

I just registered for three baby classes today and feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders! Taking them all through my hospital, LIJ -- Baby Care Basics (2 hour class), Breastfeeding (2 hour class) and Childbirth/Labor Prep (one day, 8 hour class). Best part was that when you signed up for the Childbirth/Labor class, you got the Breastfeeding class for free -- saved $65! YAY!
That's great! When are the classes?? I'm wondering about the babycare basics. Might be a good idea to brush up before the LO arrives.
I know BRU offers these types of classes once in a while too.
I think I'm going to take childbirth and breastfeeding classes through my yoga studio. They seem to be bringing in decent people and plus its down the block from my house so its very convenient :)

I got an email from edgepark saying that I am now eligible to order my breast pump!!! Time is FLYING ladies!!!
I'm assuming we're all pretty much in our third trimesters now. How crazy is that???!!!

Its crazy, I am 7 weeks from my c-section tomorrow. I'm suddenly realizing how much I have to do and its getting harder to do it. I am really wishing my mom and MIL made my showers a bit earlier. They are still 3/4 weeks away. Its going to leave me very little time to get things in order after.

Wow that is even later then mine. My actual due date is April 4, but my c-section is March 21. My mom wanted to go as far towards the end of snow season as possible, but I was early and at my mom's baby shower. So Feb 28 is the latest she would go. Which is kind of fun because its my birthday weekend. But we didn't know my c-section would be that early when she booked it.
My MIL/SIL picked the weekend before, but I wish she had done it a few weeks sooner since I have to go to NJ for that one.

You will all get everything done! Trust me! I have 9 weeks left and have to get all of DDs old stuft out and go through clothes. Good news is that my placenta moved and the baby looks great! Bad news is that I gained alot of weight! 7 lbs in 4 weeks. I can't imagine how much more I'm going to gain in 9 weeks

By the way, is anyone else super uncomfortable yet? I feel like it's to early to be this uncomfortable, since technically I have 9 weeks to go. Not swollen, although showing first signs of swelling, but my belly and back.... just sitting, standing, even laying I can't get comfortable.

Was doing great until this week! My legs are so achy and look like memory foam from all the retained water. On my feet a lot yesterday and by bed time my whole body ached. I feel 38 not 28 weeks ??

OMG yes!!! 8 weeks to go and i want her out!! which is weird cause with DS i was never uncomfortable until the very end when i got swollen. but she's taken hibernation under my rib which makes it hard to breathe and sit. i can't get comfortable on the couch. i can't lean over to put on my shoes. i can't imagine getting bigger.

I've had some pretty bad heartburn settle in but other than that I'm still feeling ok. A little achy towawrd the end of the day or if I'm sitting in one spot too long but thankfully I'm still feeling ok. I have 12 weeks to go so I'm sure in another 4 weeks I'll be singing a different tune

Omg yes! I am so swollen already. At the end of the day, the outline of my socks is branded into my ankles. I can't believe I am only 30 weeks and this is happening!
I also had my shower this past Saturday! I was worried it would be too early because the whole month of February is shot for my family, but I am so happy we diid it now. It was an really nice day and we are so lucky to have such amazing and generous friends and family but I have no idea what to do with half this stuff! Seeing our house filled with baby items.... Sh!t just got real... Lol

Just had a growth sono last night. I'm 30w5d and the baby is measuring just under 4lbs (3lb14oz). Already head down, which is a relief. We got a couple 3d shots but the baby was already pretty smushed up against the placenta so nothing too great. Still fun to see though 
I can't believe how fast this has been going!!!
I'm with you Dana, I'm SO not ready yet for this baby. I'm hoping my shower is soon so I feel like I can get a handle on what I have and what I'm going to need to go out and get.
Started childbirth class last week also. Interesting so far. I've been listening to the relaxation CD it came with, which is very nice and definitely forces you to take a moment and just relax.

34 weeks tomorrow. I haven't had a growth sono. I wonder if that is because I am doing a c-section anyhow? Ill see what he says on Wed. I would love one more soon. I am on the two week OB plan now.
I don't have to take birth classes, again c-section, but I have taken the hospital course, breastfeeding course, baby CPR and went to a lecture about introducing pets and babies.
My first baby shower (in NJ) is tomorrow. I am so happy because I feel like I can start putting stuff together. My second (here) is next weekend. Unfortunately my furniture should be here this week but as its coming from Vietnam I am guessing that the west coast dock strikes will probably delay its arrival. I want it here so bad so I can put her room together. We did get our chair, so thats in the room.
I didn't think I was nesting until last night when I got angry at food particles in my fridge and took my whole fridge apart and cleaned it and reorganized it. Then I started in on the cabinets. So yeah I think I am nesting as much as I can without furniture or baby stuff here yet.
As long as there are no surprises she arrives 4 weeks from Tuesday. Really freaking me out.

I am currently 33 weeks, I can't believe how fast this pregnancy is going now! We had my shower 2 weeks ago and I have been organizing and putting everything away a little at a time but I still don't feel anywhere near ready! I am definitely nesting, driving DH crazy wanting every little project done before the baby arrives. I don't even have logic behind this because I know he will still be able to do things, but I just want everything completed. He drew the line at replacing the shutters and mailbox until it gets warmer, LOL
I have been going to the doc every 2 weeks now and everything is measuring perfect and this little nugget is moving around like a maniac lately!
The worst side effect I am having is the carpal tunnel. I never would have imagined it would be this painful. I have pins and needles in both of my hands and my arms are killing me as if I have a really bad case of arthritis. I have to take breaks in between writing thank you's for the shower. I just hope I am one of the lucky ones that have this disappear once the baby is here. I have also been having some light cramping and lower back pain but my doctor said it's normal towards the end.
Hope all you ladies are feeling great! Our little ones will be here before we know it!
