OK, I just have to say, I know I'm a first time mom-to-be, and I get that others have been through it, etc etc etc... But I hate when people, specifically coworkers have that shocked face and go on and on about "oh you're already uncomfortable when you sleep, you're already getting up to pee 3x's a night, etc etc etc, just wait"... I get it! I don't need to hear it daily or multiple times a day! Just let me enjoy my pregnancy please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck to all who are having their anatomy scans this week! Mine isn't until August 11th but I had the early one last week. Hopefully the bowel issue is not an issue the next time I go in.

I applaud anyone who can stay team green! I wouldn't be able to not find out!!! So many boys this month! Can't wait to find out what everyone else is having.
Had my first prenatal massage ever today - it was magical. I wanted one so badly my first pregnancy, but never got around to getting it. DH got me a gift card for mother's day this year and after a sweet 16 last night with my super clingy 1.5 yr old, I needed one today!

I found out at 16 weeks because we did the panarmama. At 17 weeks it was confirmed still a boy at our early anatomy scan at the hospital.
I wanted to stay team green but DH was not into it at all. He said he HAD to know. So I figured why not. Even though we know its a boy we won't be telling the name until he is born so that leaves some sort of surprise for people. Not that we have even talked about names yet but we will when it gets closer.
For some reason when I found out its a boy it made it more real for me. Now we call him "him or he" and not it or he/she.

There really are so many boys! I keep thinking I'm having a boy (and I still do) but that was mainly because it seemed that everyone around me either just had or is having a girl!

It was nice to know it was a girl and get cute girl clothes at the shower instead of all yellow. We also kept the name a secret from everyone until she was born so that was fun! This time we don't have much preparing to do so it's easier. We're getting nowhere with names so having to pick two is the one drawback.

Yeah, but its gonna be so exciting when he/she is born! Its good you have things from your DD so you dont have to worry about getting a lot of stuff. People will bring outfits once he/she is born so even if its a boy you will be fine. I told DH if we are able to have a second child we are going team green. IDK if he will agree to that though. Either way names will always be kept secret bc I don't wanna hear people's opinions. Nothing is worse than when you tell someone a name you picked for your child and they give you a face like seriously!!! Or even worse they suggest other names.
If it was a girls name I feel like I would be going crazy and have a huge list. I feel like girls names are more fun. With a boys name we are just gonna keep it simple. Now that I told some people I am preg (finally- still many don't know at 18 weeks) I get so whats the name gonna be? I tell them we will name him when we see him.

Ha, its so weird when they tell you the sex. Mine was over the phone when my panarama results came in. I was so nervous/excited to find out. I KNEW it was a boy for some reason. If it was a girl I would have been very surprised.
Can't wait to hear if you are right!

She massaged EVERYTHING! I laid on my side with a pillow between my legs. I started on my left side so she rubbed my right side of my back (and middle) and my right leg. Then I flipped to the right side and she rubbed my left side. Then I was on my back (propped) and she rubbed my neck, face, legs, feet, and head. It was magical.

How are you all doing with the weight gaining situation?
I'm 18 weeks and have gained about 5 pound or less. Its hard to tell because I am always fluctuating. When i wake up in the morning I have almost no bump but throughout the day with eating it slightly appears. My boobs grew size though. At my early anatomy scan last week the baby is in the 48% which they said was good, but I just worry. I'm really trying to eat more but its hard. I go back n the 11th and am trying to gain something by then. Thoughts?
