How are you all doing with the weight gaining situation?
I'm 18 weeks and have gained about 5 pound or less. Its hard to tell because I am always fluctuating. When i wake up in the morning I have almost no bump but throughout the day with eating it slightly appears. My boobs grew size though. At my early anatomy scan last week the baby is in the 48% which they said was good, but I just worry. I'm really trying to eat more but its hard. I go back n the 11th and am trying to gain something by then. Thoughts?
I'm down 10lbs, but I'm overweight to begin with, so it's fine. I only gained 20lbs total with DS1 and he was a whopping 9lbs at birth. Drs aren't concerned about weight gain/loss.
Is your dr concerned about weight gain? Your body will gain what it needs to gain. I wouldn't be concerned about gaining weight unless someone else is concerned too!!!!!

I know nothing about boys! I raised my (much) younger sister from age 6months to 9 years, I know all about girls! I know NOTHING about boys!!!! I am so excited and so nervous!

We had our anatomy scan this morning and everything looked great! Such a relief to see all was good. For some reason the last 4 weeks dragged so much but it was nice to see the baby and it's really nice to finally have more frequent movement and a little stronger too. No wavering from  and I can't believe DH and I haven't even been tempted. Seems like all odds point to boy this month though!

They're not much different! Boys are messy and dirty and rough and so in love with their moms 
DS had stitches before he was 1, is a crazy bird, and plays super rough! From what I hear it'll be harder to potty train, but you'll never have to deal with periods and bras and boy drama!

Thanks for the info. Well I'm in the 130's and 5'5 so I would say I was a good weight before getting preg. IVF meds had added a little weight on me. At my last appointment (17 weeks)with my OB he didn't say anything about weight gain. But I feel like if I don't gain much by my 20 week appointment he might say something. IDK I just worry and it seems like most people tell me by my point they had gained more and actually looked pregnant. I have been able to eat more lately (finally) so hopefully that helps. When i asked about weight gain the first time I went to the OB he said I should gain between 25-35. So I'm hoping I at least make the 25. Watch I'm worrying for nothing and I'm gonna get huge.

I'll be 20 weeks tomorrow and I'm only up about 6-7 pounds. I didn't have any morning sickness so I just ate normally or when I was hungry. I'd say close to 2 pounds were just in the last two weeks and I was really gaining so slowly before that. I'm petite but up close to 10 pounds from before I had my first so I chalked it up to that. At my u/s today the baby was measuring 5 days behind so I'm anxious to see what the doctor says when I go on Friday. I've been super busy so sometimes I don't pay enough attention to when I'm hungry.

Good for you! I am so impressed by you couples' self control! I could never wait it out!
I keep thinking I should have at least have been fighting some urge to find out but nothing. Maybe it's been so easy bc I'm still having a hard time even believing that I'm pregnant. Hoping it sinks in soon!

Thanks for sharing. At least I don't feel like the only one who hasn't gained a lot. I been eating more this week so we'll see how it goes. I hope your appointment on Friday goes well. Were they able to tell you what percentile the baby is in? See I'm never hungry but I make myself eat. This was not the case before pregnancy. I had to work at maintaining my weight and also worked out. I can barely work out now. I take short walks so its not like I'm burning a ton of calories working out. I'm starting prenatal yoga next month.
