We are having such a hard time with names! I feel like this baby is going to be born and I won't know what to call him. It's getting frustrating because the girl's name was so easy, but now all I do is flip-flop back and forth.
Ugh, sorry for the vent.

We were thinking Jack, but now are leaning towards James.
DH has a funky last name, so it's hard to find something that goes nicely with it.
We also are considering:
Adam
Matthew
Robert (DH's name)
Jeremy (but this doesn't sound good with DH's last name)
Justin
Ben
Ryan
Jacob
Mark
Sam
Daniel (not DH's fav)

Christina, all your boy names sound like the ones we were throwing around! I loved Justin but I think DH was more into James. I like Ryan a lot but one of DH's best friends whom he also works with is Ryan and I thought that was a little too weird. I love Robert, too.
My DH is Michael... what about that? 
My friend has 3 boys -- Logan, Benjamin, and Kellan. I like Ben best too.
We were just lucky I think we're having a girl lol.

Names in our family that we'd consider but were already "taken" are:
Jack
Steven
Philip
David
Eric
Jonathan
Samuel
It's definitely tough. I have to say that having letters I wanted to use in memory of relatives that passed helped a TON as far as letting us narrow down our choices for a name. Is there any way to find meaning or some sort of goal to help shorten your list?

Not really. My brother just had a baby boy and used my Dad's name. We don't follow any initial tradition in my family. With Julia (my DD), I did find a name that had special meaning. But, nothing jumps out at me for the boy one. Thanks for all the help! I'm sure we'll think of something. We've been calling him "Gizmo" for now. Ha!
