Re: OFFICIAL JUNE MOMMY THREAD!

since we live in 1 bedroom, we have to make space for the baby... so we got started on that over the long weekend, we painted the bedroom, got new wardrobe from ikea and we are getting rid of other furniture from the bedroom (except the bed of course)... so in the long run we will be more organized... now we need to get a crib...
I am feeling ok but tired most of the time... and boy oh boy I seem hungry all the time now...
also, I am saying and doing such weird things I am afraid I am losing it... yesterday I took a shower and after 20 minutes I realized that I did not wash my hair... later I was looking for my cell phone but I kept calling it a watch Chat Icon so my funny dh kept showing me other things asking: and what is this? Chat Icon telling you this baby is su cking out my brain cells!!

Hey all! I'm amazed at the movements too. Last Friday I had a conference that lasted 8 hours- I spent a good portion of it just watching my belly move.

Tomorrow morning I do the glucose screeningChat Icon

Re: OFFICIAL JUNE MOMMY THREAD!

Im happy to report that the baby is no longer breech....Now I need to figure out how to keep him that way!

I saw the High Risk Dr. Today and I will be starting on a Zofran pump, which will be inserted like an insulin pump to hopefully help me eat some more and gain a little more weight.

I got to see the bean quickly today and I have a growth sono tommorow which Im happy about , cause I get to make sure hes growing ok through all this!

I feel him all the time and I love it. It eases my mind sooo much.

My shower is at the end of the month alreay , and Im getting excited for that and of course registry stalking is fun.

Im so glad we are all doing well.

donna, were you at madonna today? i was there for 3 1/2 hours!! i hope the pump will finally give you some relief. i will still be praying for you.

my news so far:
i passed my one hour glucose.

my ffn was negative, so i know i won't go into preterm labor for at least 2 weeks.

the non-stress test revealed no contractions!

both babies were kicking and moving and having strong heartbeats.

there is a 20% difference in their sizes. they don't want the difference to go beyond 20%, so i have to go for another growth sone next monday.

my dh saw my belly move today-it was awesome!!!

we are in the home stretch ladies!!!! i can't believe it!! thinking of you all!!

Good luck ladies! I go on the 20th for my glucose test.

Feeling pretty good lately. I can't believe how much my little guy is moving around. I love watching my belly jump and feeling him wiggle around. So amazing!

Sleeping is becoming more difficult. I can't seem to find a position that I'm comfortable in all night. Between that and getting up at least 2x to pee, I'm tired all the time.

Has anyone else experienced a loss of appetite? I'm just not hungry and have the hardest time figuring out what I really want to eat. Times like that, I wish someone would just tell me what to eat.

The baby's room is well on it's way to being done, thanks 100% to my DH. So far, he's put down new laminate flooring, painted the walls, put in recessed lighting, and new molding around the window, door, closet, and floor. It really looks great! The furniture is scheduled to come in May. We can't wait!

Next month, I have to figure out finalize my maternity leave with my company. Does anyone else know yet how much itme they're taking? I'm going to be out 12-14 weeks, depending if I use any vacation time.

That's it for now! I hope all of my fellow June mommies continue to feel good. We're almost there! Chat Icon

Donna...good to hear you are doing well. Hope the pump helps!

I have my 1 hr glucose on Wed. I better pass this time! Our lil' man is squirming up a storm and there are days I'm actually in pain from doing too much.

It's so much harder than it was with DD.....

I am having a hard time with eating too! I can't get the taste for anything Chat Icon It's very annoying.

And I just closed my store of 8 years to stay home with the baby. So I'm pretty much done with work for a long while Chat Icon

Re: OFFICIAL JUNE MOMMY THREAD!

I just came back from my 2nd level II. We finally got to see the heart.

I have come to grip that I am totally bored with food. Nothing interests me meanwhile I am starving.

Re: OFFICIAL JUNE MOMMY THREAD!

Well the good news is I may not have to get a c-section. After reviewing my sono files (& not just the report from the tech) Dr. H has determined that although I do currently have placenta previa the center of the placenta is not directly over the cervical opening. Thsi is good news b/c IF it moves as I grow (and boy am I growing!) then it is possible for the placenta to move far away enough from the opening to allow me to have contractions & go into labour. We might still need a c-section, but it would be an emergency one rather than a planned one at 37.5 weeks. I am really happy about that -0 I felt like I was cheating abit or something.

So keeping my fingers crossed until my 28 week sono to see where that stubborn placenta isChat Icon .

The nursery is almost done. We ran into a weath of problems since the precious owner of the house was the kind of "half-assed" work (yes I know this is not the proper term but he is an azz.). The wainscotting was only partially treated, so the white wash is very blotchy & when we tried to remove the wainscotting we discovered that only the top part of the wall has sheetrock. I am not eve getting involved in that mess tright now, so we are off to plan "b" for the wainscotting. Hopefully by the end of next weekend I can start to take pics of a finished nursery!

Re: OFFICIAL JUNE MOMMY THREAD!

Hey girls!! Checking in Chat Icon How is everyone doing?

My update:
Took the glucose test yesterday Chat Icon Wasn't all that bad. Also had a follow up Pap since I had an abnormal one way way back when. Doctor said everything looks fine. My uterus is measuring at 29 (?) and he said the baby's heartbeat was "excellent" AND (LOVE this doctor) my weight gain was "perfect"! Mind you, I've gained 30 so far and I'm at 28 weeks. I love my doctor Chat Icon

I am now going back every 3 weeks instead of 4 and I'll have my last sono to check postioning at 36 weeks.

The nursery furniture is in Chat Icon But Behrs is holding it for us since it technically wasn't supposed to be here til April. DH and I still have to clear out a bunch of stuff and old furniture in the room. But it's all coming along Chat Icon

Feeling good! I must say that my hands aren't swelling as bad as they were and I am VERY happy about that. Now that I'm in the 3rd trimester Chat Icon I'm getting a bit tired again. But I have no complaints.

Hope you all get a chance to enjoy the warm weather today! Chat Icon

Re: OFFICIAL JUNE MOMMY THREAD!

Update on me:

I had to see the surgeon again for my "little problem" down there. Since it came back, it was no picnic. We decided not to do another surgery unless I HAVE TO. Since I got a bit better yesterday, that was the swing vote. Unfortunatelly it was come back at any time and there is nothing we can do about it.

I am going for my glucose test within the next 2 wks.

15 more weeks...Chat Icon

I think I remember what this is and for some reason, don't ask where, but I read somewhere in a health magazine that eating beets helps reduce.

Re: OFFICIAL JUNE MOMMY THREAD!

most days i feel ok, but lately this pregnancy is kicking my toosh a little with all the various pains and discomforts!

i am very, very uncomfortable for sleeeping and i am still getting charley horses every night. i think i am starting to experience sciatica pain, because i keep getting a shooting pain down my left leg too. most days i take a nap-thank goodness, because i am just very tired all the time.

i'm very anxious about getting everything finished. i keep making lists and obsessing about my dh's weekends off-to make the most of his time.

as far as the babies: both babies are doing fine and growing big! baby a is 2lbs 2ou and baby b is 2lbs 9 ou. i am being monitored weekly and so far, no contractions and my cervix looks great!!

i can't believe we are in the home stretch!!!
