Re: OFFICIAL JUNE MOMMY THREAD!
Hi Ladies!
Things are going well with us overall.
Our nursery furniture is being delivered next month and DH and I are finally ordering the bedding and accessories this weekend. I can't wait to see some furniture in there!
Went shopping last weekend with MIL and SIL and got some more baby basics. We're not having a baby shower so I wanted to get some things just in case our baby makes an early appearance.
Other than that, sleep and I aren't friends these days. I fall asleep no problem but I can't seem to stay comfortable so I keep waking up. Also, baby thinks it's a good idea to practice playing the drums in mommy's belly...at 2 AM every morning! Can't really complain because I love how it feels to have him moving around in there.
That's about it. I have 10 more weeks of work left. It's crazy how fast time is going!
How is everyone else doing? Getting ready?

Re: OFFICIAL JUNE MOMMY THREAD!
Im so happy to see all the June mommies so happy and well
We are doing good as well.
Had the shower and Dh is already putting stuff together Thankfully we need for nothing at this point ( but a baby ).
Still having weekly ( 2x a week actually) appointments....once a week for bio physicals to check on Noah since my fluid level is so high....
And once a week for monitoring, Progesterone shots, and A cervical length sono...
Looks like we are doing ok...and hanging in there. I will be 31 weeks monday and to think he could be here in 3 weeks , OMG is scary. A big part of me wants him to stay in there LONGER even though I have been so sick b/c Im SCARED.
On another better note. We "may" try to wean me off the Zofran pump starting next week...that would be nice
So, Im still taking it easy, but getting ready just in case he does come early( and yet with my luck I have a feeling its gonna be a 41 week PG! )
OHHH and I passed my 1 hour Glucose!!
Im exhausted though. From the meds, and the Anemia , I get winded really easy and have trouble standing for very long. I feel much further along then I am.....
And Now I pee about every 1-2 hours a night...so I WAS sleeping ok, now not so much....
How's our other June girlies???????????

Re: OFFICIAL JUNE MOMMY THREAD!
Donna- you've really had a rough time of it and I admire your courage through it all.Whenever I have complaints about the mild aches and pains of pregnancy, I think of your m/s and what you've been through and slap myself for being whiny. In a way,my DH should kiss your feet as YOU'RE the reason I have been easy-going through my pg.
Thank goodness it will all be over soon and you'll have your sweet baby boy as a reward!!!!

Re: OFFICIAL JUNE MOMMY THREAD!
Ugh....am I allowed to complain? PLEASE?
SO tired, irritable, and physically drained @ 30 weeks, cranky is not the word for almost everyday lately. PLUS...my grandmother is moving from NY next week....so YAY....who knows how much "Oy Veying" I'll get from her about her new apt, etc.
DD is a tornado.....trying to maintain the house AND keep up with her makes me crazy some days. And now, bedtime seems to be getting later for her....which only extends my cooking/dinner time to like 9pm!
We are excited and scared (I'm scared about how I'm supposed to split my time when both children will need me so much).
Did not gain any weight...so still only up 8 lbs total, everything else looks good. I know I am not eating enough and still not drinking enough....again.....it's hard keeping up.
I cannot wait to get this lil' guy outta me!!!

Well I leave out the parts about Crying hysterically to DH about it all
But in all honesty, I DO complain and it all stinks and Im scared I wont have the strength to ever do this all again,
But I remember how badly I wanted this for 2 plus yrs and how hard it was to get here and I think of my friends on the IF board who would take this and WORSE to be in my shoes and thats what keeps me from whining as much as I might like to....
Thanks for your words though...We all have our own struggles I guess

Re: OFFICIAL JUNE MOMMY THREAD!
ugh we have so much to do. The nursery hasn't been touched - there is no furniture picked out either.
I'm just glad that I will have DS's items already to go.
I guess just a few onsies, diapers and a co-sleeper and the baby can come.

Re: OFFICIAL JUNE MOMMY THREAD!
Things are still going great here, I'm 29 weeks tomorrow I can't believe how fast it's going!!!
Went to the Dr. the other day, baby & I are both doing great, her heartbeat is strong, my BP and weight are good, so it was a good day. It's so nice to see DH so happy/proud that things are going so well for us.
Now we go to the Dr. every 2 weeks! It's going tooooooo fast!!!!!!
Signed up for a third-trimester class at my Dr's office, as well as a Baby Care Basics class. My sister, who's a L&D nurse upstate and teaches all kinds of classes regularly, is going to teach us the Lamaze/Childbirth class when she's down here in a few weeks, so that will be great! Now I think we just need to meet with the pediatrician's office, and schedule a tour of the hospital, and we're good to go. I would like to find a breastfeeding class too.
The nursery is very unorganized, we're still waiting for a piece of furniture from BRU that was damaged, then was out-of-stock when they tried to re-order it. I want to start washing the newborn/0-3 mo. clothes and putting them away, so I hope it comes soon!!
My shower's not until Memorial Day weekend, which is 3 weeks before I'm due, so I'm worried about getting everything situated after the shower, but I'll have my family down here for a few days after the shower, so they should be lots of help.

Same here! I can't believe it! I still can't believe that I only have 2 months to go!
Now I'm just waiting for some movement on my registry so I know my shower's getting close! But nothing so far

Re: OFFICIAL JUNE MOMMY THREAD!
HI my lovely June ladies... how are we all doing?? I hope good!! We're getting close!!
Our little moster is moving like a maniac! Kicks are getting VERY strong and startle me from time to time. I've got a lot of rolling going on. But feeling pretty good. I'm more exhausted now and just want to do nothing! I'm getting achy, but I guess that's "normal". Legs are very achy, like I just ran a marathon. My appetite is getting stronger too. Guess the baby's growing!
I've noticed movement on my registry so I'm assuming that it's happening sometime soon. I can't wait. The furniture is in the nursery, but the shelves are bare...
Other than that.. I have another dr. appointment on Friday. I'm going every 2 weeks now
How's everyone else feeling????

Re: OFFICIAL JUNE MOMMY THREAD!
I am doing great! I also feel my baby move all the time and am somewhat startled by how strong the movements are! She is really growing strong in there.
The nursery is done and has been for weeks. We've taken a childbirth preparation class and are taking a breastfeeding and infant care class in the coming weeks. I'm also looking into a CPR class. My showers are coming up at the end of April and beginning of May which is exciting! I am meeting with a Pediatrician a friend recommended on Monday, so hopefully I will have that finished soon.
I'm pretty much just waiting for my little one at this point.

Re: OFFICIAL JUNE MOMMY THREAD!
We put the crib and armoire together last weekend. I put all the clothes in there. They just need to be washed. The bassinet is also ready. We also got the glider.
Still left to do: - finish assembling the changing table - get diapers - install carseat - get mom and baby bag ready for hospital - Get mattress for crib - Get some hygiene necessities - Get bath tub for baby
Some of items, I am waiting for a shower at work (I won't have one outside work since we have no family here with us on LI).

Re: OFFICIAL JUNE MOMMY THREAD!
It's almost our time!! I can't believe it. DH is a PO and he's taking the car seat courses right now, so he's getting all excited about stuff.
Nursery is almost done. I have a feeling when my shower is, but it's a "surprise".
I'm feeling SO exhausted
The baby is rolling a lot. Not so much kicking...
Good reports from the doctor all around. I go on the 3rd for my Strep B and then it's every week appointments!!

Re: OFFICIAL JUNE MOMMY THREAD!
I'm definitely sore and have entered the stage of being uncomfortable when I'm trying to sleep.
His kicks are sooo strong and he loves rolling around when Mommy is trying to sleep.
We go next week for our 3D and growth sono. We also have to schedule our hospital tour and c-section class (should be interesting to see what they teach about a c-section!).
Our nursery furniture will be delivered next month and I'm excited for that.
I can't believe he'll be here 8 weeks from today!!!

Re: OFFICIAL JUNE MOMMY THREAD!
OK girls... we're ALMOST there!!
How is everyone?
Things here are great! Baby is moving like a maniac! Had my Strep B yesterday and I go back on the 16th for the last sono. I can't imagine what the baby looks like at this point! I'm afraid to look because I don't want to see any "parts"
Feeling good other than being EXHAUSTED most of the time but... oh well!
Can you believe it's almost our month!?!
We're going to start taking bets on who's going to go first!!

I can't believe it's almost June. Time sure has flown. Only 6 more weeks for me, that is both very exciting and slightly scary, but that's ok. Can't wait to meet the little munchkin.
Hope everyone is doing well.

Re: OFFICIAL JUNE MOMMY THREAD!
Hi girls! Only 6 weeks left for me. Unfortunately we're moving at the end up May, two weeks before my due date so nothing will be set up for the baby or us before then. Instead I'll have to pack this month. Hopefully the move will go smoothly and I'll still feel ok. I'm definitely tired, but still going to the gym and going out with friends. I'm a little nervous about everything, from labor to caring for the baby to living in a 1 bedroom apt in manhattan but I know it will all be fine. I'm 34 weeks and I can say that I'm ready for it to happen as I can't wait to not be pregnant anymore! I had my shower last weekend and everything is at my mom's until after we move. I'm sure everything will feel more real once we're in our new place and the baby stuff is set up. I can't wait to meet our little guy! Still need a name!

Re: OFFICIAL JUNE MOMMY THREAD!
I had my shower this past weekend (pictures in my album)... I think the little one is running out of space cause when he is moving it feels like my whole belly is shifting I have noticed my feel are swelling a lot lately which kinda stinks cause I can hardly fit in any shoes!
