Awesome baby pic!
I had my NT Scan this morning - got a 3D ultrasound done (we weren't expecting it so it was a happy surprise) and we got some amazing baby pictures 
What's funny is that the u/s tech said she thinks it's a boy. Then the Dr came in and said "oh, it's just waaay too early to tell. You really won't know until the anatomy scan at 18-20 weeks. Oh wow, no - that's a boy alright" 
Oh, and the scan itself came back great - just gotta wait a few more days for the bloodwork to come back (which was just a finger-prick so that was good) but i'm really not worried.
I'll post a pic later if i can but right now, i'm on cloud 9

Aww...fantastic! Did they give you feedback on preliminary NT scan results?
Mine is next week and I almost wish they didn't do it. I wouldn't even be thinking about Down Syndrome if it weren't for the test. Now I'm so nervous about it!
Yup -- he basically said there's no chance of any abnormalities. They'll call with the rest of the blood test results, but he was pretty confident already.

I agree! I told the doc I wasn't really interested in all of the testing b/c no matter the results I wouldn't be doing anything about it, but after discussing w/ her she really recommended it so since DH was on board, I agreed. I am hoping I don't regret it and have any unnecessary worry after the results!! I hear of so many false positives!

Same here. I was hesitant to do the test, but bc the Dr pushed it, DH really wanted to do it. My next appointment is Thursday so hopefully we get good news, and I'm sure you ladies will also!
That is a really cute pic, Sandra, and it's great that they already gave you feedback!

Thanks - yeah, even DH and I could easily see it there (though if they didn't tell us what we were looking at, we'd obviously have no idea ).

For me, it was just an excuse to get an extra sonogram done and see the baby again. It's been 6 weeks since my previous one and I couldn't imagine waiting 8 more until the anatomy scan!
I wouldn't stress about the actual test - especially if chromosomal diseases don't run in your families.

I'm also happy to look over registries for anyone who wants and give suggestions! There were SO MANY THINGS I didn't register for (and didn't even know I'd need) that I was out buying when DD was 2, 3, 6, 12 weeks old! Some of the best products we got were things I got after she was born, too.
i will be taking you up on that offer as well i am going to just go looking with my mom this weekend. i've been looking online but i really need to start seeing some things in person to get actual ideas. then i'll come home and do more research etc. i posted much earlier in this thread about it, but i am WAY terrified of registering. my niece is 17 and my sis lived OOS when she was pregnant, so my mother hasn't been through actual baby stuff since me for the most part. there's really no little kids in my family so i am just clueless!

We don't need to do the full bladder at GN, do we? Nobody said anything...
i don't go to that office, but i think if you needed a full bladder they would tell you. i will be 11 weeks tomorrow, and they did a sono over my belly today and my bladder was EMPTY. no issues.
oh and you will DEF have movement for an 11w5d sono. ours was waving and kicking up a storm today. pics in my album

I actually felt great yesterday for the first time in about 2 months! I just hit 13 weeks, so I'm hoping this means things will be better for my second trimester. I got so much done yesterday and even worked out for the first time in at least a month, and I didn't even feel like I needed a nap! It was nice to feel like myself again. I used to have so much energy before I got pregnant and for the last two months I've felt like a lazy lump. Let's see if this lasts! I'm afraid to jinx myself too but I have heard it gets better in the second trimester so I'm hoping that's true.

I'm still utterly exhausted...even had some shortness of breath yesterday.
But maybe when we're all feeling better in a few weeks/month or so, we could have a 2nd trimester GTG!
Maybe a Sunday brunch followed by a walk through a baby store
Where does everyone live? I'm south shore, western Nassau.

Besides being exhausted I feel great....wouldn't even know I was pregnant...I guess I'm one of the lucky ones...none of my sisters got morning sickness either.....I would be interested in GTG....I'm in the plain view area

Wow, that's awesome they were able to tell what you are having at the ultrasreen! Congrats!
I have my us today. Saw the OB yesterday and apparently my BP was a little elevated. Great.
I started feeling better around 11 weeks energy and MS wise but it's been getting bad again. I was sick all day.
I also thought pregnancy brain was a crap shoot but I guess there's some truth to it. Yeah, I read my work schedule wrong. They switched my day but I still feel like an idiot.

I feel pretty normal these days too. I only had mild symptoms anyhow before, but those are mostly gone now so that's good.
This morning, i even woke up a bit earlier than usual (it was hard) and did a quick workout.
Speaking of which, if anyone has Cablevision, they have free OnDemand prenatal yoga (it's under sportskool > yoga). It's very much for beginners though, but that was perfect for me since i never did yoga before.

That is good to know, I'll check that out definitely! I have been so lazy the past few months. I did start to feel better last week, but now either allergies or a cold has me knocked on my butt again. Hoping to get rid of whatever it is and start feeling like myself again soon!

Where does everyone live? I'm south shore, western Nassau.
I'm definitely in for a GTG! I live in Howard Beach Queens, but I have no problem traveling
And of course I totally jinxed myself this morning, I had the WORST heartburn today!! Couldn't even eat lunch at work it was so bad, I actually felt like I was going to throw up and I haven't done that once this whole pregnancy! Hoping I feel better after a good night's rest
