DH and I still don't have a name, btw. We have a few options but i'm not sure about any of them. The one that DH and I loooved, we told my mom and she HATED it and made fun of it and said it's a nerdy name  . The name's still on the list, but my mom definitely put doubts in my mind about it. if u and ur dh love it, i think u should ignore what everyone else thinks/says. Its YOUR child and they named theirs whatever they wanted when it was their time someone will always have an opinion but at the end of the day, you have to love it. I know ur moms opinion/approval is important but its her grandchild - the name will grow on her!
I couldn't agree more! Name your baby whatever you and your DH want. I'm sorry your mom laughed at your favorite choice.She should have known better. DH and I haven't told anyone our name choices because we don't want to hear anyones's opinions. Don't worry if your mom doesn't live the name, she'll learn to love it because she will love her grandchild.

She could still flip right before birth, it happens sometimes.
You could try going to a chiropracter that does the Webster technique. I've heard it has a good success rate.
I don't think she budged at all! She's a stubborn one  first he tried flipping her backwards and she didn't move. Then he tried forwards, and it looked like the placenta was blocking her path. Then he tried backwards again and she was still exactly where she started.
I think that because my uterus feels pretty tight an because of where the placenta is right up next to her head she doesn't have much chance of turning on her own. I might try a chiropractor but the thought of someone manipulating my spine has always made me nervous

apparently drs think I had a stomach virus Wed/Thurs. which was odd cause I also felt thirsty & nauseau on Tuesday.... ended up going to hospital today for an IV after having a drs appt......
now somehow from the GD they told me I was starving myself the body was turning fat reserves into these bad keytones, I had ALOT of them.......told me to eat and drink more,kept not going away...... now I get the virus, couldn't eat much, couldn't hold down what I did manage to eat - and they tell me the keytones finally went away. arghhhhh

Is anybody experiencing a pulled muscle feeling in the pelvis? I think it may be lightning. I'm 39 weeks. It hurts to turn sides when laying down and i have to waddle to walk because of the pressure.

I'm having lower contractions tonight -- hoping it means some good progress!
As far as a pulled muscle feeling goes, I've had a lot of that, but towards the end it could be the baby settling deep in the pelvis and then the relaxin causing your pelvis to buckle out with the pressure a bit. Definitely a good sign!

I've had this for a couple of weeks, but my baby has been super low for like 4-5 weeks, I feel so much pressure in my pelvis, sometimes I think the baby might just fall out...haha (I know that won't happen this is my first baby after all)

I have definitely been feeling more BH which seemed to be a little stronger last night. Is anyone finding it difficult to breathe at times? Last night I had to turn the AC on and couldn't fall back asleep for at least an hour because I had such difficulty breathing.

Yes! I feel like I can't breathe when I lay down at night. Such a frustrating feeling!

sorry, i've been sworn to secrecy until Baby's actually born. I think it's still our top name but it just stinks that my mom was a jerk about it (left a bad taste in my mouth).

Liveitup - have u tried child's pose 3x a day to help baby turn? My yoga teacher has been coaching pregnant people for 20 years and swears by it. Just a thought, let me know if u need more details!

PS - just went for my 2 mile walk! This cooler weather is awesome! I do have to say that although I have been walking and working out the whole pregnancy it has def got harder and my pelvis is very achy now!

Couldn't sleep last night. Tried going to sleep at our usual 10:30 (since DD gets up around 7-7:30 every day, we don't really have "weekend" hours) and couldn't sleep for hours. Finally got out of bed at 12:30 and I washed all the bottles I'd put in the sink along with the new microwave sterilizer, emptied the dish washer, cleaned out my purse entirely, and folded the laundry. Went back to bed around 2:30 and finally got some sleep (save all the pee breaks, but that's usual).
Just keep wondering if/when I'll go into labor. We hope to go pumpkin picking today!

I haven't really been consistent with trying position to keep my hips elevated because so far every position I try is uncomfortable and i just keep forgetting. But I should try to be more consistent about it since its worth a shot and I'm running out of time!

I do the same kind of thing when I can't sleep at night. I end up going around the house trying to get things done like laundry and organizing stuff. DH thinks I'm crazy. He doesn't think nesting is a real thing, but, wow! It really is! Every little piece of clutter and dust in my house is driving me crazy!

Congratulations on your !!! I'm so glad you're ok -- placenta abruption is really scary.  Just for the record: my friend had a successful VBAC after having her son via emergency c 2 1/2 years ago due to placenta abruption. Just in case it's something on your mind! Love his name!!!

I can't believe I made it to October!
This twin pregnancy is taking quite the toll on me. Thank God my c-section is this Sun, Oct 7.
Nervous about it but just REALLY need them out already. Last week, I was crying / begging dr to make it earlier b/c I didn't know how i'd survive but no such luck.
Congrats worrywort and good luck to the rest of the Oct mommies!!!!

I went in for my appt this week. No internal (thank GOD! I had 2 last week! ) Just did the NST. But I talked to the dr, and he seems to think that I might be a candidate for induction. 
I just want nature to take its course!!! Operation-water-break is in full effect! I'm gearing up for some long walks,  , hot sauce, warm baths, etc.
