FYI...I think my water just broke, I will be so excited to not have to be induced Monday, I don't really have contractions yet so I'm gonna try to get some sleep, it'll be hard though cause I'm so excited

Good luck! I'm due tomorrow and will be getting induced thurs if she doesn't come before then. Im too uncomfortable just want to be done and meet her!

So jealous... I want to go into labor NOW!
My C section was scheduled for today then got bumped to Wednesday!!!! Arggh! with these twins, every day my belly gets noticeably bigger and more painful.
I had irregular contractions half the night but my doc said they had to get to 3 mins apart.

I can only imagine how you feel with twins. I feel like my belly is noticably bigger each day. And you must be going through double that!!! Good luck on wednesday!

My weight fluctuated each week but basically leveled off. Doctor wasn't concerned but I imagine they watch it to make sure the baby is still thriving.

Update: never started contractions on my own after 18 hrs at home finally went to hospital where I was fully effaced but not dilated. Started me on pintocin last night. Around 6am contractions were unbearable with no break so I chose the epidural, now I'm on high doses of pitocin waiting to dilate. Hoping I get to see my baby sometime tonight. Good luck to all the rest of you will try to keep you updated :)

thanks for updating! I was going to update it after everyone's LO was born on the initial post. I'll still do that but this makes it easier! I'm still trying to keep up with everyone but I probably only get on here once or twice a week (and this is really the only thread I read on the pregnancy board!)....it's going to be a tough month, but I am happy to vicariously live through all of you, YAY for the October mommies!! So many beautiful little babies born already!! I am feeling good and next month will be the first month we're going to try again, I decided I didn't want to have to deal w/ any potential disappointments this month. So you might see a post from me in the near future asking for baby dust, hopefully our TTC journey will be short  Congrats to all the new mommies and good luck to everyone who's waiting for LO's arrival!!!!

otherwise, i'm feeling a little nauseated today and no matter what position i get in, i feel like i can't breath. Fun fun fun

I still can't believe it's 5 days until my due date and my son is 6 days old! It's really surreal.
We went to the ped today for a weight check and I'm SUPER proud to say that DS is at 6 lbs 6 oz, only one ounce less than his birth weight already!!!!!!! It took DD almost a month to get back to her birth weight so I am THRILLED! Honestly the best decision I ever made was to go straight to formula this time. I am still nursing a few times a day and pumping some to give him, but FF and supplementing with whatever little bit of milk I can has been a HUGE success compared to my efforts to EBF last time. I just never got milk, never got a supply, and DD was starving. It's been a little tough because you're constantly bombarded at every turn with people asking how nursing is going but I'm so excited that he's thriving that I've learned already to tune out any judgment. Sometimes you just have to do what's right for you.
Now, if only we could get the day-night mix-up resolved... he sleeps all day in the rock n play content and then wants to be held nonstop from 1 am to 5 am and is awake. Oops. He sleeps for 4 hours from 5 - 9 am, but DD gets up at 7 am so I'm only getting 2 hours of sleep. Yet I still can't stop typing long drawn-out posts. Figures.
I'm going to go try to put DD down for her nap again (she's standing up playing in her crib not napping) and get ready to feed DS again. DH is sleeping. Apparently he needs about 4x as much sleep as I do to survive.

Helen: Always thinking of you. Glad you are doing well and ready to start trying again.
Sandra: Sounds like your family is doing well. I can't get comfortable at all for sleep so I never get a good sleep between that and bathroom breaks. DH felt so bad he slept in the guest room so he wouldn't wake me up.
My next appointment is tomorrow so I'll update you ladies then! It's not so much I'm getting impatient. It's just work helped keep me busy. Not that I don't have things to do around the house but you can only do housework so much!
Hope everyone is doing well.

So here is my update ladies!
Went to the Dr. for my 40 week appt. She's low and doing well but my amniotic fluid was very low. So as soon as DH gets here we are headed to the hospital to get induced and have this baby. I'm so super nervous now. I'm gonna be a mom!!!
