Ok, I admit it, I'm feeling overwhelmed.
In my usual fashion, I've been in denial. Everyone keeps saying, ohhh you must be so anxious about going back to work, and I think to myself, hmmm, no, not really.
And then, all of a sudden, BAM, out of nowhere, it HITS. And hard. And ever since, I haven't been able to stop crying.
It's just all too much at once - going back to work, putting Yael in daycare full-time, going into a new position, and on top of it all, Sunday is the one year anniversary of my father's death, which adds a whole new mess of emotions into the mix.
I guess I just need some hugs, and reassurance that everything will be ok...

I'm sorry you are feeling this way, it's so tough to juggle everything as a Mommy needs to. when are you due back to work?

Monday. I've had a luxurious 6 months off, and now my time is up. Sometimes I think that the more time you take off, the harder it makes it to go back...

Awwww... it gets better. I remember being in your shoes 4 months ago and wondering how I was ever going to do it all and that I would miss my babies SO much! I don't know how you are doing so well; especially with the anniversary of your Dad's death looming.
It will all be ok- promise

I go back to work on Monday too after 12 weeks off.
I have been in denial as well.... and will probably continue to be until Monday morning when I start my work routine (suit, heels, subway, etc.)
I am fortunate that my sister is taking care of DD but it does not make leaving her any easier.

Aw girls hang in there, it's def. tough I am not going to lie, but it does become easier. I know that doesn't help but I went through all those emotions, cry and let it out! I vented a lot of mornings to friends on my way to work as I was blubbering it helped me.

Sorry you're still feeling sick on top of it all.
The anticipation of it all is never nearly as bad as we expect it.
I'm sure Yael will adjust fine to the full time day care schedule. As will you to the new demands of a different position. It'll just take some time. In the meantime, try to get some serious rest this weekend!
I'll be thinking of you Monday morning!
