My stance on lurkers is...a lot of people post deeply personal stuff on here. And I know it's a public board. But I feel like if you post once in awhile, even if you don't post a lot, if you just introduce yourself, then it's like, you're part of the community, we know you're there, etc. You don't hav e to participate at a high level, but at least say you're here
yes, i completely acknowledge that fact.

It was very brief.
I was looking at the baords and I had just gotten engaged, so I didn't have much to contribute, but there was a post about a certain bridal boutique, which was the one my sister used to the BM dresses, and I absolutely hated them...never one to hold back my opinion, as you know, I posted about it, so people thought I came on just to trash that boutique

I understand. Well I have a feeling alot of those lurkers are that for some specific reason. They know of a certain member that is on the boards and they are just plain being nosy.
I get so mad at DH if he ever mentions LIF to anyone. This is MY site and I don't want people snooping around on here!
I know, now you see why I didn't want anyone knowing my screen name! And as much as I would love to divulge juicy details of my life (because there are oh so many LOL) I don't because of the whole "lurker" thing. It stinks!
