OK, so I don't win the mother award this month....
Dr. Cavanaugh: So, is Cailen still sleeping in his bouncy seat?
Me: No.
Dr. Cavanaugh: Oh good! Thats great!
Me:  Well, He's sleeping in his swing now....
Dr. Cavanaugh: (thumps forehead with hand)

Did he give any suggestions? B/c that would annoy the crap out of me if he wasn't trying to help at all.
Does Cailen hate being flat on his back? Maybe prop the mattress?

No - I'm sure if I asked, he would definitely give me suggestions. But he knows I am desperate for sleep at this point afer calling him many times crying that he wasnt sleeping at all....
Yes, Cailen hates being on his back. Period. He likes being on his belly, but I'm not ready to do that yet... I tried swaddling when he was an infant. He hated it. I tried lavendar lotion, I tried propping. I tried sideways... I tried the sleeping dance naked in nothing but a loin cloth in the backyard....
Cailen likes to be in constant motion. He has no problem lying down in his stroller if I'm walking for an hour. this is what happens when he's the child of a psycho who never stopped moving during her pregnancy!!!!

Well, I'm trying to get him used to the booze now, so he'll build a nice tolerance once he gets to college. i may wait and run it by cavanaugh at his 6 month visit though....

Listen, my DD JUST started sleeping in her crib after almost 8 months. I know that people were shaking their heads when I told them she only slept in her swing. Whatever kept us sane and her asleep we were going to do. Don't let anyone make you feel bad.

Not yet but My DD is 10 from my previous marriage so I thought I might have something to offer here and there.
Like get sleep anyway you can at any cost or you'll lose your mind. Hey here's an idea leave the baby with the Doc so you can take a nap and see how he likes it.
I'll take all the help/advise I can get...
