One year since I started my WW diet
I dont want to start a bragging post but I had to share my proud day!
I started WW one year ago today. I never went to meetings in person or online. I used my dad's old books and slides and an app on my phone.
I have amazing willpower when it comes to food and it was put to the test 3 times in my life already. The first time was when I was 13 and diagnosed with hypogylcemia and was put on a low/no sugar diet. Then when I was pregnant and had to go on a low glucose diet because I had gestational diabetes and then when I was having gall bladder attacks and while I was waiting for surgery to be done, I needed to go on a no fat diet.
All of those reasons were medically related so this was the first time to diet for ME. It was a rough first 2 weeks with ALOT of fast food cravings!!!
But I put my mind to it and counted my points and pushed through...
After three months of hard core dieting and NEVER cheating, not one single bite, I was at my goal! I went from 169 to 140.
Since I was used to the lifestyle now and it really didnt take long at all, I decided to go for 10 more pounds. It was another 3 months of dieting and I did it!! I was at 130! A weight I havent seen since I was 25 years old!
I have been maintaining within 2-3 pounds of that weight for half a year... in fact I weighed myself today and I am 128.
I LOVE to shop for clothes now and I feel like years have been added to my life and that I am also 10 years younger!
I hope this inspires one person... I cant tell you how good it feels to feel love how you look! Of course there are many parts of my body I would still change but I look and the mirror and SMILE.

  Its been awhile since i've posted on LIF, but you deserve this post, i've watched you as you have been melting, and am so proud of you!I lost 6lbs, but I am not as focused as you, and i am a little older and more tolerant of my body as I've come to know it...Love you...

You look wonderful, and it's so nice to hear how proud you are. I wouldn't be bashful, you've accomplished a lot.
