Ordering pizza for a party? Advice

SO DH & I decided very last minute to have some family and friends over to celebrate my son's 2nd b-day. We are keeping it very simple.

Vegetable Crudite with dip
Spinach dip with pita chips
Guacamole & chips
Potato chips & dip

Pasta with parmesan cheese, garlic & oil
Salad
Pizza

Ice cream b-day cake
Assorted cookies
Fruit (strawberries, grapes, pineapple)

We are having about 14 adults and 6 or 7 children ages 4 and under. Now my question is should I order plain pizza or some plain, some with toppings? Also how many pies? Never ordered pizza for a party lol, I usually make myself crazy and cook for days! TIA!

i'm always paranoid, and rather more than less, KWIM?
so maybe....let's see..8 slices a pie...16 adults..7 kids.. I guess I would get 4 pies, just in case?

maybe see if pizzeria has any coupons online or in newspaper, too.

i'd get plain pizza, only because you have a lot of yummy snacksChat Icon

People are wild for Penne ala vodka ( I don't love it myself, although I would it) so I say yes.

I would order 4 pies, but one you can ask them to cut one into 16ths for the kids (and some adults)

We did pizza last year for Christopher's birthday and are doing it again for his family party this year, so easy and a people pleaserChat Icon Chat Icon
