Ovarian Cyst Surgery
When you have to spend the night for a laparotomy, which floor do they put you on?? Is it the maternity floor?
Please also tell me which hospital you went to.
Thanks

Re: Ovarian Cyst Surgery
I had a cyst, a little larger than a lime, on my right ovary. I had it removed this past August, through my belly button. I did not stay overnight - I was sent to the OR's recovery area and after about five hours of recovery, I went home. I needed a little more time than most because the anesthesia makes me so nauseous and I wanted to fully overcome that before I started to get into the car to go home. This was at St. Catherine's Hospital in Smithtown. My OB/GYN Dr. Mann did my surgery.
