i dont know if its for real, but if it were me posting that,i would sell my computer to buy what my child needs..i wouldnt post an ad,i would sell my pc..
I didnt open the link, but couldnt she possible have posted off someones computer, job, or from a library.. it may not necessarily be her computer.

Can I ask why you keep posting things like this? Obviously, the OP wants to help, as do quite a few of us, so why do you have to keep posting warnings about it being a scam?
I understand how you might ORIGINALLY been skeptical, but I think it has been established that this is most definitely legitimate. I'm also confused as to why you keep pressing this point?

First of all, I don't think a scammer would be asking for a CAKE. C'mon now. Secondly, my issue isn't with it being a "scam" it's the constant posts about selling her computer to buy her kid what she needs, after many people have pointed out it might not even be her own computer and how illogical that is.
IF it's a scam (which I doubt it is), I'm out some new clothes and toys my DD would not have used anyway. MOST people tend to be good natured and I would hope if *I* fell on really hard times and needed the support, people would be there for me.

I believe summerrluvv contacted her. I haven't been able to contact her yet. I got home after 9 pm and I don't want to call her after 9. I'm waiting to hear from summerrluvv and I'm going with my gut on this one.

Hmm, outside of running a background check on her and asking for her social and going to inspect her living situation, I just don't think we'll know 100% 
A dozen people emailed me for her address so I think her DD will still have a great birthday

Exactly.. with times getting harder and harder, you never know who may need help.. it could be you, friend, family member.. wouldnt you want to know there are some kind hearted people out there willing to help. I would. Im in, if their is any donation set up, i would like to know.. I got plenty to share.

Oh another idea is to send some 1st bday decorations if anyone has any leftovers I gave all mine away with the exception of some crepe (sp?) paper, but I'm going to put that in the box.

To all of you ladies who are helping this woman. I don't have anything to send her for her DD birthday but if I did I would be right there with you all sending it.
Kudos to you all for having such big hearts.

I just want to remind everyone that her DD's birthday is Thursday, so if you can, try to mail your stuff tomorrow or Wednesday, it should only take 1 day to get there via the post office (or UPS).
